We took a tour of Thunderhead's lift hill Saturday during Thrills in the Hills. They shared a lot of great info about Thunderhead!!! Pete Owens was at the top waiting on us and shared even more info. PLUS you can get a great view of "phase 2"

No point, just saying how it was when I was there. Not really trying to dispute you or anthing.

I was there on 12/31 and Afterburn was all but a walk on most of the night. After Midnight we rode 6 times and never got out of our seats. The longest we waited was one train. Other rides in the park had lines but nothing really bad.

As far as WG opening, we was told on the construction tour that it will open in May. Not sure when or if pass holders will get a sneak peek before the public.

Carowinds held a construction tour Wed. Oct 17. Here is a video of that tour I made. A lot of great info, and one of the best things we found out is Copperhead Strike can run in cooler weather and will be open for Winterfest 2019!! I hope you enjoy.

I feel like Winterfest will be worth the drive. Last year was the first year they did it and I was really impressed at how much they put into it. I feel like this year will only be better. Here is a link to a video I made from Winterfest last year.

On a Coaster Addict Video, He said that on the park map says that a "New Dining Experience for 2018" will be coming in the Goliath Plaza.

We went to KD for TT media day but have never been to the park during normal operating days and now it looks like we will be going to KD in about two weeks. It's not a make or break thing, but does anyone have any info on Volcano?

I went to media day today also. I have to say I was surprised at the airtime throughout the entire ride. The pacing is great from the drop to the brake run. Sure it's not the biggest, fastest or longest, but it is a lot of fun to ride. This is my 3rd RMC (Lightning Rod and Twisted Timbers are the other two) and I love how they packed so many elements into a smaller coaster. I have watched some different POVs and it's nothing like actually riding it.

I just uploaded a video of Carowinds Camp Snoopy opening ceremony and walk through. Sorry for the shakiness of the opening ceremony, my daughter recorded it and she is still learning.

I rode TT Friday during Media Day. This is only my second RMC I have rode (Lightning Rod is the other). I love how smooth this ride is from start to finish.

They also said during WWU they are not sure when the end date of the GASM running backwards will end. They have a date in mind but not set in stone. Also, the British where Twisted Cyclone is section will now be the Coastal section and the French section where Monster Mansion is will be called Piedmont.
