  1. I will be going to kings island in late may early june. I will try to get to the opening hour as best as I can because I live in Nashville Tennessee and I hope I can get there before or during opening hour. I will be riding any ride that I can. I will even ride slingshot and Xtreme Skyflyer. I am hoping to go with one of my friends ( who will be a girl ) and hold their hand if I get scared on rides. I have heard that prices are cheaper online as well as the prices for slingshot and xtreme skyflyer are cheaper in the beginning of the day. I will ride those rides later in the day because that is when the park is more crowded. Here is the order of rides that I will ride that I can: Arrive Get tickets for slingshot and xtreme skyflyer ( I will ride these later ) Firehawk Invertigo Drop tower The bat Vortex Banshee Windseeker Delirium Slingshot Flight of fear Xtreme Skyflyer Diamondback And what ever ride I want to ride again I will. Does my list need editing? When is lunch a good idea? What is the best ride that is listed? Any other advice for kings island? I am happy to edit my list and happy for feedback. If you have any feedback, feel free to list your own thoughts. Thanks.
  2. Kings Island. I am planning on riding every ride that I can. Any advice for kings island?
  3. I am planning on going to Kings Island in the summer of 2016 with one of my friends, I want to ride all the rides ( including Slingshot and the Xtreme Skyflyer ), but I am nervous about some of the coasters, drop towers, and other rides. Any advice on how to get over the fear of the ride? I want to ride all the rides, but I am nervous about some. Any advice on how not to be nervous on rides that you are a little afraid of?
  4. Back up your reason with your on ride experiences please. Which is better? Which is more expensive? Where have you ridden them? Which is worth the money you pay to ride?
  5. I really want to go to kings island this summer, but I want to go with one of my friends. I am not sure how to ask them if they want to go. How should I ask them to go? What should I tell them about kings island? What rides are must rides there?
  6. How scary or fun is firehawk? Can you tell your on ride experiences?
  7. Is the slingshot ride worth it or is it a waste of money? Is the extreme sky flyer worth it or is it a waste of money? Can you tell your on ride experiences for both rides if you have ridden them?
  8. What the maxflight simulator looks like and the seat and harness. The maxflight simulator closed. They are commonly found at science centers and indoor amusement parks. They are my favorite simulator to ride. Here is what I have to say about riding one: I rode it at my science center. It could be both a roller coaster simulator and a flight simulator. I first rode the roller coaster. The seat is very comfy. I tightened a lap belt as tight as it could be and the ride operator lowered an over the shoulder harness. The lap belt is tighter while the shoulder harness is comfier. The lid is then closed. It starts out simple with some loops to the left and right but then goes backwards and does loops. It got intense near the end. When the ride is over the ride opens and the harnesses are opened. I then rode the flight simulator twice. It is more fun because you can control how intense the simulator is. I made it very intense because I flew in many loops trying to shoot down planes. Both were a ton of fun. I would ride it again. End of that. Have you ever ridden one and what did you think about it. Where did you ride it?
  9. How do the restraints work on the firehawk? I was wondering because the restraints look different than most coaster restraints. Can someone explain how the restraints work and how they are put on?
  10. Here are some rides that I want to ride in my life before I die. Are these fun rides in your opinion? Firehawk, Kings island. Slingshot, any park. Sky coaster/ xtremeskyflyer, any park. Skyscraper, any park. Power surge ride, any park where the base spins. Air race ride, where the duration is long. La boule ( slingshot type ride), foire du trône. Reverse bungy singapore or Boracay. X2 roller coaster, six flags california. Top scan, any park. Top spin, any park. Vomatron, any park. Are these rides good in your opinion? Would you ride them again?
  11. Zamperla makes some pretty strange rides. They are cool, but what is your favorite Zamperla ride? Can you describe what the ride is and does?
  12. Here are some rides that I want to ride in my life before I die. Are these fun rides in your opinion? Firehawk, Kings island. Slingshot, any park. Sky coaster/ xtremeskyflyer, any park. 13. It was the maxflight simulator because near the end it moved in many directions in a very short period of time. It was fun but intense. The track I rode was the space/ astroid track.
  14. A ride that I can not stand are the teacup rides at any park because they make me sick.
  15. I prefer inversions because you can feel how intense the forces are against the body. It shows how intense a coaster is.
  16. This maxflight simulator was at a science center in my home town, and it could be both a flight simulator or a roller coaster simulator. I first rode the roller coaster simulator. I was really nervous about doing this on my own, but I realized I would be having more fun than I would be scared. I first rode the roller coaster simulator at 12:05 PM. I was not asked to remove anything from my pocket, which I find odd because of how much movement there is on the ride. On all my rides I sat on the left seat of the simulator ( the seat looking toward the right when not in the simulator ). When I sat in the seat, the first thing I noticed was that it was very soft and that my body quickly got used to it. The ride operator told me to strap a lap belt on my own which I did. The lap can be as tight as the rider wants it, so I did it very tight. The ride operator then pulled down a over the shoulder harness and used a crotch belt to fasten the harness above my legs. The over the shoulder harness is very comfy as is the lap belt, but the over the shoulder harness is comfier. After telling the ride operator that I want to do the roller coaster, he then closed the lid and the ride lifted off the ground. The ride starts out simple with just a loop to the right then a loop to the left. It thens get a lot more intense, going upside down all the way, and also going backwards and upside down. It was very intense. You also feel like you will only be held to the seat via the lap belt. The trick I found to not get sick is to not eat before riding, and every time the ride goes to a new area you take a deep breath. After the ride was over, the ride operator unbuckled my shoulder harness and I unbuckled my lap belt. At 2:00 PM, I decided to ride the flight simulator. The strap in process was the same, but this time I asked for the flight simulator. In the flight simulator, you have two joysticks, one for a throttle and another to control how the plane moves. I personally enjoyed the flight simulator more because it was not as intense, you could control how you wanted to fly, and you could not go upside down. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend riding one of these if you have the chance.
  17. This is a ride that looks like a lot of fun, but I want to understand it. How comfy and tight is the seat and harness? How insane is the flipping? How scary or fun is it? Can you tell your on ride experiences?
  18. How does the restraint system work on firehawk? Is it tight and comfy?
  19. I want to ride one. There is one at my science center but I have a few questions about it. How comfy and tight is the seat and harness? Is the flight simulator or roller coaster simulator more intense and if so why? Can you tell your on ride experiences please?
  20. When I saw the power surge at beech bend park, I was fascinated and wanted to ride it. However I was scared at the same time but I really wanted to ride it. My fear overcame me and wish that I rode it. It looks like a cool ride to ride. I really want to ride it now. Why was power surge removed from beech bend park when it was so popular and thrilling?
  21. I really want to ride it but want to know what it is like. How comfy and tight is the harness? Do you feel like you move a lot in the harness? How scary is it? Where would you recommend sitting? What is the scariest part of the ride?
