  1. I sure hope they don't trim it too much, if at all. Regardless, I'll still be excited whenever it opens
  2. Colossus at SFMM used to be the one I could ride over and over... I love old woodies. Well, most of them.
  3. Last year I went to SFMM and the ride ops on Riddler's Revenge were annoyed when I asked for help to get the seat down (I'm 5'1", and the seat was all the way up and it wouldn't BUDGE). And apparently they didn't check the restraints very well because near the top of the lift hill I realized the shoulder restraint wasn't clicked in... I pushed it down and it clicked down for me up there, thank God... But I'll never ride it again. Honestly scared the s*** out of me and during the whole ride I was afraid I'd fall out.
  4. Scream at SFMM. I rode it as a kid when it was new and thought it was a big yawn... can't believe it's still around.
  5. It rolled back one when I rode it a few years ago. We were the second car with people to be launched, all they did was take us off, run the cars on the track without people in it, and then let us back on right after. I was freaked out when it happened, but apparently it wasn't a big deal
  6. Hello! I'm a lurker who is finally joining... My name is Chloe and I'm 19 years old I grew up in Simi Valley, CA and grew up with Six Flags Magic Mountain and Disneyland. I moved to UT about 10 years ago, and now I live somewhat close to Lagoon. I love following SFMM on here since I last visited in October '13 and saw Freefall, Deja Vu, Flashback, and Psyclone were all gone. Also, Colossus is a soft spot for me and I've been stalking all the news about it since I heard it would be closing. Since I talk about Disneyland/SFMM 300 times a day and go to Lagoon on the regular, I figured I'd finally join and let it all out on an actual theme park forum. I'm still debating on what to do with my life, but I've definitely always considered being in either the truck/Jeep fabrication industry or in the Coaster/Theme Park industry (non-specific)... If I do happen to weasel my way into the Theme Park industry, I'd love to go into the production/refurbishment/repair/whatever of rides.. and this is the perfect place to expand my knowledge. Sorry for the novel! I'm very excited to finally be a member.
