  1. "RMC owner, Fred Grubb, testing out our prototype Raptor train on our single rail test track."

Rumblings among the coaster grape vine are that SFFT is getting the New Raptor Coaster, not Knott's. I hope its true. Jeffrey has a way of working his magic.

I hope not. The capacity for the Raptor would be terrible for a crowded Fiesta Texas. I'm all for the T-Rex version though.

To add to this speculation, you may be right. But I thought they were a lot further in testing the Raptor track than they are now.

    I wonder:

    1. How long does testing take?

    2. When will TREX testing start?

    3. How long was the Free Fly testing before Six Flags bought it?

    4. How long is the track production time?

    5. What park is getting WHAT???

Well this prototype existed for more than a year before Batman was built

That's the one I'm talking about.

  4. With the rumor that B&M has developed a new design for the stand up trains, could Riddler be the first to get them?

"...While I'm sure the track design will remain similar to standard B&M track, our source went on to say that we can expect a slight redesign to the trains, including modification to that annoying bicycle style seat thing that goes between your legs and the addition of new restraints that will incorporate a stand-up version of B&M's new vest style system (as seen on Banshee and all the Wing Coasters), which should cut down on any possible head-banging."

  5.

How can I be chill when RMC clearly designed this in roller coaster tycoon?!?! This is easily the WORST RMC layout to-date and its a worse parking lot coaster than Scream! I mean, who's even going to come out to this place to ride it, it's not even at a Theme Park... I haven't even seen a clever marketing campaign for this thing either. RMC has FAILED big time.

You're kidding right? All they've come up with a is a concept, how could have they failed already? Here's why they've succeeded even with a concept and early ride development. First they are clearly advertising this to small parks that don't have the massive amounts of land to put in a thrill ride. Secondly, with one track, there's less material, and less costs. This is great for parks that don't have huge budgets. This is clearly the first generation, who knows where this will lead. We never thought we'd see a launching wooden coaster, but we have one now. Who's to say this design doesn't eventually evolve into a launch coaster, giving the current small footprint launching coaster manufacturers some competition. This is a win for RMC and a Win for some of the smaller, not as well know amusement parks looking for an economical option to give coaster enthusiasts and General public.

  6. I agree that Titan will likely stay put for the foreseeable future. However, that being said, SF could always relocate Titan to SFSTL, which is in desperate need of a Hyper. Then they could use the land to build a T-Rex Giga! I know I'm dreaming, but it sure is a nice dream!

They would probably put in a Superloop instead of a T-Rex.

Nope. No Super Loop Going to SFOT. There's one too close to the park at the local flea market. Although there are plenty of similar attractions that could be built in 2018.

Remember when people used to say that SFFT would never get a B&M inverted or a B:TR clone because there was one up the road at Sea World? Sure, Trader's Village is slightly closer, but I don't necessarily think that the average park goer thinks about that.

Whether an average park goer thinks about it or not, that's coming from park management, not GP.

  8. How busy is SFOT typically on Good Friday? It is the only day that I could make time to go to the park thanks to my busy schedule.

Are you not going to go to the park if we say it is busy? Define busy. How does it compared to the definition of crowded? Do you mean is it busy enough that you should get there at rope drop and hit up Riddler first, or is it busy that you need a Flash pass? What amount of time are you use to waiting for a ride? Please elaborate.

  9. The Silver Bullet at Kemah Boardwalk in Texas. The critics hate it because it's so rough, but its exactly what you would expect from a wooden coaster over looking the ocean. It's exactly what a wooden coaster should be, rough, fast, and over all a wild ride that doesn't let up until you hit the break run at the end.
