Considering the rumor of the "Dark Knight" themed ride... I say this picture has something to do with the Dark Knight or Dark Knight Rises. Cat woman anyone?
Or this could totally not be related to the new ride at all and they're teasing about something related to fright fest lol
Didn't they use the Adventure Theater as a Zombie Maze/Attraction during Fright Fest? I hope they aren't teasing us for a new Fright Fest maze.

Six Flags Over Texas just posted another teaser pic on their Facebook page. This is getting interesting.

Six Flags posted this today on their Facebook page: "WHAAAAAAT?! #SFOT2015"

And I'm not ashamed to admit that SkyScreamer scared the bejeezus out of me, and I don't plan on going up again. I can do any coaster anywhere, but the height, the minimal restraints, and the twisting in the wind made my brain go into "HOLY CRAP DON'T DIE" mode. I'm suitably impressed but nooooo thanks.
I have to agree with you. I have no interest in being in a swing 500 feet off the ground. I don't even care for the smaller swing rides. So I have absolutely no interest in going on SkyScreamer. As I'm getting older I'm starting to develop a fear of heights. Just to give myself a thrill I rode the Superman Tower of Power and it scared me. I like to be lifted at a slow pace into the sky, not launched. I wasn't exactly ready. I got off and swore I wouldn't ride it again, but I was so scared and and shaken up, I can't wait to ride it again. I just don't feel like I get enough of a rush on Titan and NTAG anymore. Even though I love riding them, I wish they would build another thrilling ride in the part. We'll see what is coming in 2015.

It would be awesome if they were putting in a dark ride like Canada Wonderland's Wonder Mountain's Guardian. Part rollercoaster part 3D shooter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonder_Mountain%27s_Guardian

Any new updates on the new "Spectacular" attraction we are getting? I'm starting to have my doubts on getting a thrilling rollercoaster next year.

It'll be a Dark Knight indoor wild mouse conversion.
Why? They stopped after 2009 and Shapiro/Jim Reid stopped adding them since. I'm guessing they didn't generate the attendance boost they wanted (Not surprised).
I'd go for an indoor/outdoor suspended ride like Arthur in Europa Park http://arthur.europapark.de/?lang=en.

^ Where is the photo showing footers? I don't think the building is big enough to put a coaster. Plus they already have a indoor coaster. They probably just going to reopen it with Sponge Bob 5-D. I mean it's six flags, they will find a way to disappoint us.
Here the link with pictures showing the footers in Roaring Rapids pond. http://www.arlingtonvoice.com/story/entertainment/06/24/2014/sign-promising-spectacular-new-six-flags-attraction-ignites-speculati

Someone please educate me on what other Six Flags have as far as a ride that could possible be going into the Adventure Theatre. Is there anything that could be compared to a dark ride like at Disneyland or Universal Studios? Something with projectors and 3D glasses? I've never been in the Adventure Theatre, so what happened inside before 2011? What kind of upgrades could they be doing to it?

Here is an article about the sign and some pictures of the construction in the drained Rapids pond. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=11&ved=0CBwQFjAAOAo&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.arlingtonvoice.com%2Fstory%2Fentertainment%2F06%2F24%2F2014%2Fsign-promising-spectacular-new-six-flags-attraction-ignites-speculati&ei=lkmrU_6rM-mb8AGPsoHIBQ&usg=AFQjCNGG0hLINAk4o6f9qAidCLnqErHxfg&sig2=irWIy7W78yDVnX9aq3Bo5w&bvm=bv.69620078,d.b2U

I could see an AquaTwist coming to SFOT. However, it'd be even better to see a new coaster. I know they aren't the best rides out there, but I feel a B&M Wing coaster would work well. X-Flight clone, anybody?
$50 for that! That's the best fit for them, especially since Six Flags loves doing clones.
What about Six Flags over Texas getting a clone of Superman: Ultimate Flight from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom?
Too close to mr freeze imo. But i'm down for an X-Flight clone! It'd be hard to find that big of a chunk of land to put it in, assuming its going towards the rapids.
Is there a chance that they would be working on Runaway Mountain? Is it currently open? Would they need to close Rapids to work on it? I'm only suggesting this because of an email survey I got from SFOT about a new indoor rollercoaster.
-
I didn't get a survey from SFOT but I got a different email for a VIP exclusive season pass sale. I was just about to buy one for my upcoming visit . Did anyone else get that email? Just curious how VIP I am.
We both must be VIP! 50% off on Gold Season Passes.

I recently got an email from SFOT to do a survey on a couple of possible new attractions. They were kind of silly and not really realistic. Like a Virtual Reality Ride and a Lazer/Music Ride. I was wondering if anyone else took the same survey. Also I've read on a couple of blogs about the possibility of a new Wing Coaster and or a Euro Coaster for 2015. I'd be excited for either, but wonder if SFOT will put one in and where.

They are kind of freakishly realistic. I'm curious to see how much of the queue is in the bank lobby.

The most entertaining nights consist of sitting and watching hours of rollercoaster POVs over and over again.
