It’s not even a rough ride to being with.
But if these actuall are new trains it’s nice to see the park putting money into a classic!
-
Whhhatttt???
Where the heck did they get those trains? They don't look like the vekoma model at all.....
Are these actually new or just some new features/look?
-
I still don’t understand the hate for Anaconda. It’s not a bad ride at all. There’s plenty of coasters that are worse than it.

Here is some additional information and even a story line to tie in with the theme of the new water park! This addition is going to do wonders for the park!

A t-rex in that spot? I doubt it’s gonna be anything coaster related but maybe an infinity coaster? Not that they really need that.
Considering they’re expanding their boardwalk maybe they will add some non-ride related things.

I’m not concerned about my rights being taken away lol it’s 2018. People can support whatever the hell they want to.
I’ll continue eating their delicious chicken
Thanks social justice warrior
Also what is everyone thinking about that stadium plot? I think a splash battle would fit absolutely perfect there.
“battle for Lake Erie” lol

The world is not in need of more homophobic chicken restaurants. Fortunately, there are enough places to eat at Cedar Point that don't involve hating about 700 million people.
Well with a company so successful like chic fil a is, there is a reason its coming back.
Oh and I am welcomed in there with zero problems everytime. (I'm gay)

I wonder if any of the coaster trains were in that maintenance building......

It appears somebody was inspired by my “what was the most improved CF park in the past ten years” poll. lol
I'm gonna say Kings Dominion. When Paramount left, it really just seemed like a wasteland but Cedar Fair really did a good job breathing new life into the park. They got rid of their crappy coasters and improved their woodies. Plus they added Dominator and I305 which are arguably the best two coasters in the park. Plus they did an amazing job (and are continuing to) with Candy Apple Grove
Dollywood, Kings Islans and Cedar Point all come to mind as well.

Renaming Rebel Yell is just absolutely ridiculous.
Other than the name changes, everything else seemed like great improvements!
Oh and Apple Zapple just killed me a little bit.
-
To be fair, it takes a ton of staff to run that park so a lot of employees will have to work Christmas which would totally suck.

Welp, there goes one of the only attributes in the plus column for this park.
Really? A holding brake?
I'll never understand why this park gets bashed on here so much. It's so much better than Valleyfair and MiA in the chain.
Gonna be headed to the park for the haunts on Sunday night after Hershey!! I can't wait! Any tips or advice on what not to miss out on?
-
Does anybody else find it absolutely ludicrous that the one weekend the park is closed in October is the holiday weekend? Just seems like crazy to me....
Very disappointing as we were going to go here Sunday after Phoenix Fall Fun Fest. Guess we'll have to go somewhere else.
-
Like, do people not realize it's not the length that matters?? It's all about how well it rides.
I disagree, I think the length has a very big part in any ride. Look at Goliath, is it a great ride? Of course it is! But it's one of RMC's weaker creations due to its short layout and lack of more elements.
I think this will be a nice ride but definitely one of the weakest of the RMC hybrids to date.
-
The ride is using both the green and blue trains. The back two cars are the original green train, they just repainted it.
-
It's a Larson loop
-
I'm pretty intrigued by the new train concept that's rumored. That would be a huge improvement on Green Lantern, a ride that wouldn't make sense to convert into a floorless. The same goes for the Riddler's Revenge.

Flashback is definitely one of the better old restrain style boomerangs out there. Zoomerang next door at LC is good too. At this point it's removal wouldn't be a surprise but I'm still thinking that they're gonna get it open for the summer. They might evaluate its condition and see if it's worth saving by the end of the season.

The ride is in great shape and resembles the classic county fair image perfectly. That would really suck to see it go since it's pretty much the centerpiece of that whole area.
Eli Wheels are awesome, if they did remove it I hope its not getting scrapped.
