Like I stated a few weeks ago. The cones that bordered that land in the parking lot mean something. Not sure what, but something
-
That would be extremely small main pipeline for a splash station, it would be like powering it with a water hose.
-
I would love to see a Proslide Hydromagnetic Rocket slide go in place of the current slide tower. I think the magnetic "launch" on a water slide is pretty neat!
-
Wild thing is a decent ride, but I don't think new trains are Valleyfair's 1# focus.
-
This is probably just a concept car. Im sure garyman has good intentions weather he does know or not. We really have nothing to lose, he hasn't given us solid facts about what his "source" says. Its a RUMOR. So everyone needs to calm down about this. The only bad thing that will happen if garyman truly doesn't know is that we'll be disappointed. And that isn't the end of the world people.

I'm not sure if you guys are paying attention to what GCI just unveiled at IAAPA. On the topic of upgrading trains, I think the new chrome plated millennium flyer trains would look FREAKING AWESOME on renegade. Take a look for yourself, by far one of the coolest trains at IAAPA, besides thunderbird's of course.
-
I would love to see any coaster at Valleyfair be turned backwards, renegade would be insane! I would also like to see b&m trains on wild thing like they did to steel dragon 2000. Maybe April is when they say there is a big announcement in the works?
-
They just released a pov of corkscrew https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNjnoCusd8k
-
They probably will post most if not all the ride povs of the park. They have a pov pic from the top of wild thing's lift hill on their twitter
-
It's good that valleyfair is using the youtube account more! That is odd, I don't know why they would turn it off.

Hopefully next year's Renegade crew allows unlimited rerides too. Then I could possibly hit over 100 laps next season.
Also, does anyone happen to know the official date for Opening Day 2015?
I highly doubt they will do that next year. They actually were breaking a rule letting people stay on 17 times in a row, they could have gotten in trouble actually. The rule is let people re ride twice if there is no one waiting in line for their seat. Its fun, but the ride ops could have gotten in a decent amount of trouble.
It's against a rule? Huh, I wonder why? I hope they don't get in trouble and come back next year because even if they never let us re-ride, they would still be BY FAR the best crew I've ever seen.
^^Nice little trip report. I've walked onto Wild Thing plenty of times, but I have never seen the station that empty before. I need to make sure I go on closing day next year (weather permitting) so I can get these walk-on waits for everything.
I was really surprised by the wait times, I mean, I didn't even have to wait a cycle for Power Tower (Red), which has never happened to me before.
Also, today is the last day to get season passes at the lower price.
In my time at park services they even trained me in on that rule, I don't know why. They just told us about it in orientation and training.

I am assuming you are just trolling because no one can seriously be that stupid. I'm just going to cherry pick KI out of your argument because it is the only one you mentioned that is in the chain (and therefore the only one that has any merit in this conversation). KI did massive infrastructure upgrades in the areas that received Diamond Back and Banshee the year immediately before those coasters were added. WOF did the same thing with Patriot. Carowinds is doing the same thing with Fury. Canada's Wonderland did the same thing with Behemoth and Leviathan. Cedar Point did the same thing with Gate Keeper.
I think you are focusing solely on us saying that the new coaster is not coming on your timeline. It IS coming but the park has things that they HAVE to address before it comes.
Sorry that I was not clear enough. I choose a list of CF, SF and Independent parks to illustrate my point that all parks add a coaster to increase attendance and that VF is no different. I feel VF is ready now to add one in an attempt to grow the park. But since I'm stupid I would appreciate your help in under standing all the MASSIVE infrastructure upgrades in detail of what and where that VF needs to finally accommodate a new coaster. With you sharing all your knowledge I can stop making dumb or 'trolling' comments. And if you have the time could you list all the MASSIVE infrastructure upgrades that KI, CP, WOF and CW did the year before they added a new coaster?
California Pinto you really just need to go away. You stated your opinions already, and now you need to stop offending people. Just because I'm younger than you doesn't give you the right to make fun of me or be rude. And if you think I'm dumb, guess again. I happen to be a straight A student who just loves roller coasters and VF happens to be my home park. If we want to speculate about a coaster coming in 2016, we can. And you have no idea if one is coming or not. What if we do get one in 2016? You sure might feel a bit stupid. Please, just go away. We all don't want you on here if your going to be like this.Amen brothers! Let's all just assume that Californiapinto just likes to make random statements based on nothing but liking to see his posts on this thread. I'm sure Valleyfair is not the only forum he likes to intrude upon.
O.K. anybody getting any closer to unscrambling my latest clue?
I think most people gave up gary I was informed a few days ago that the branch park services, at valleyfair won't be returning for the 2015 season. The work is being inherited by admissions, water park, and rides. I can't say I agree with this change, but Im sure it is for the best. Today was my last day working, and park services last day as its own branch

I think most people gave up gary Sorry for the double post, i didn't know it would make a duplicate, and I have no idea how to delete it

He is right in some aspects ^ I'm really wondering what those cones in the parking lot meant though, they might reappear this Saturday in a bigger area of the parking lot if this pattern continues.

I'm a park services associate currently working at valleyfair, and here is my imput. I don't see a need for another sit down restaurant. I've been working at the park almost every operating day in the season, and I frequently visit, even when I'm not working. I have never seen Coasters and Chickies and Petes be even close to being filled at the same time. I've only seen chickies and petes fill a few times, on busy days in the summer. Take into consideration most branches in valleyfair are understaffed right now so it is difficult for lots of meal out put. I don't think valleyfair is anywhere near needing another sit down restaurant. Keep in consideration that Cedar Fair slated valleyfair for major growth. Major growth isn't just a sit down restaurant, Gary's source has said we wont be disappointed in 2016. Truth is we wont know what we'll get until September of next year, unless valleyfair starts teasing at a major attraction. Just my two cents.

That is a good point ^ He was fairly accurate on the water park expansion. It also occupies us other then discussing the same thing in a big circle. Even if gary has no idea, we will still probably be getting a coaster in 2016 anyway. Here are some phrases I'm finding, I still have yet to make a sentence with the all the words but here is what ive got. 210 (or 201) ft tall B and M invert. I have no idea how we will figure this out with out some help from gary. On the other hand, is anyone heading out on saturday or sunday to ride coasters in november !?
-
Man gary, how the heck are we going to solve this? Can you give us a hint to solve the hint
-
Garyman, when will the next hint be coming out?

The mysterious cones have returned in the parking lot, and I noticed there are markings suspiciously going from the hydro blaster area to the administration building behind the scenes. Below are the outlines of the cones and the path of the markings. Let the speculation begin.
Markings bordering high roller passing by the administration building
The cones border has gotten larger suprisingly

You guys could just ask him over twitter

If the area of cones that you mention borders the park and stays there for a while, maybe it could mean that they're tearing it up. Otherwise, they might just be reserving parking spaces for something else.
They only stayed for one day (I swept a 7 hour shift) and no one parked there. I also noticed orange and red markings starting where the old games island used to be leading all the way into the employee area. A lot of stuff is going on at valleyfair in terms of mysterious markings. Some aren't even by the soak city expansion
-
I forgot to mention but I noticed something odd in the parking lot yesterday. There was a square of cones blocking off a very large chunk of the parking area. Could this mean they might be planning to expand a bit into the parking lot, or perhaps it has no relation to the park at all. I've heard many rumors of valleyfair moving the parking lot, and putting attractions in where some of the parking lot is right now.

Just got back from Valleyscare, lines too long for the mazes so I decided to check out the scare zones. I was very disappointed by tonight's performance. I walked through every scare zone at least 6 times (by myself) and the actors didn't even go for me.Very disappointed.

I saw the cones in the parking lot in the last few weeks of Valleyfair's operating season. The thing that confused me is that the area grew in size with in a week.
