  1. Once it gets approved by the state and the park thinks it is safe. Then it will open, and only then.
  2. There are several videos of Ellen at Universal Studios Orlando on YouTube. I'm not sure what season those are from though.
  3. I found it interesting that they hired Godzilla's director to make the next two films. He must have done a good job, I can't wait to see it.
  4. Most, if not all coasters will have an on ride photo. They are pretty expensive if you buy more than 3. As for the cameras, it depends on where the park wants to place them.
  5. Black Widow is one of the coolest flats I have seen!
  6. IMO it will need to be reinforced a little bit. Yes, it is normal for the track to sway back and forth or vibrate. But I have never seen a coaster rock back and forth that much. Just my 2 cents.
  7. My family is planning on heading to Kings Island this weekend. Any one want a photo TR? Glad you had a good trip Coasterbill, it sounded amazing.
  8. I'm glad you had a great experience! Congrats on all that weight loss, I know it couldn't have been easy.
  9. Great TR! If I don't say so myself,I think the chain link fences are a little bit over used around the park.
  10. After reading another person's post earlier in this thread, I'll second this. It's probably not just going to be one coaster, but multiple attractions with a possible coaster. Nonetheless, Thanksgiving is sure to dwarf the other sections of the park next year (minus Splashin' Safari). I don't know, yes 4th of July has no coasters. But it is one of the biggest areas in the park, IMHO.
  11. VIP passes are not needed from my experience. Week days are slightly crowded and weekend days are always crowded. So much so, I got my ankle ran over with a stroller 4 times. Shows do fill up quick, I'd advise getting to the stadium around 20 minutes before the show starts. If not, your probably going to be sitting in the soak zone. I'm not 100% sure about the free refill thing. But more than likely you will get free refills on the day of purchase. I hope this helped a little bit.
  12. Why are you so persistent about a floorless??? Have you even ridden a Floorless? They aren't that appealing to begin with. Having ridden Hydra (Allentown is closer than Orlando) and Kraken, they are nothing to write to home about. B&M is just unrealistic for Holiday World's market. I also do not want a B&M to begin with. Having ridden Manta, I put my money on Mack. One more thing, as much as I would like this to be intense and thrilling, HW needs an in-between coaster to fill the gap from the Howler to the Raven. Needless to say, that doesn't mean it can't be awesome! Why would I talk about them if I haven't ridden one? Of course I've rode one! I just think it is a possibility because the surrounding markets don't have anything close to a Floorless.
  13. I really want to see both, honestly. We need a Floorless in the area, we also need a good Mack. The closest Floorless is Kraken. Correct? I'm not even sure about the closest Mack.
  14. Probably not (yet), but I think the park needs an inverting steel coaster to round out it's collection. We all know how good their wood coasters are, but a potential launched coaster with inversions is arguably more marketable and will make the park even more of a destination. Possibly, I hope to find out what kind of coaster HW is getting soon. Hopefully not a inverted coaster, let's hope for a Floorless.
  15. Cedar Point has Popcorn Larry, whom I first thought was Uncle Leo from Seinfeld....or the devil, as this was taken on the same day that the world was supposed to end a few years ago. Remember that? I have seen him in the Red Garter with his bucket of popcorn just about every time we have gone in there to see a show since this one in 2011. I assume that he must drive to the park just to catch the show? The thing I found the craziest is that he didn't have a beer to go with his popcorn! Then there is the 'Single Rider' old guy that marathons Millennium Force, but he seemed pretty nice and would wait in the queue like everyone else (although you can't get on the coaster from the exit area. I think he knew the tricks of the trade though, because I have only seen him there on days when the queue is relatively short, like on Sunday mornings during the non-peak season. What about the guy that wears all black and drives around the park in a two wheeled Segway? Or am I the only one who sees him all the time?
  16. At my school, it is hard to make any vacations. You miss 8 days of school, your suspended.
  17. Like zippers 10000 times better than Rock-O-Planes. I feel so unsafe on them
