^And they get even better! Wish I had a rift.
Hello Everyone,
A new update has been uploaded and it contains many great new features.
We are pleased to announce that this new build integrates Oculus Rift support. This is a feature many of our Kickstarter backers have been looking forward to, so we set aside time during this development stage to add Oculus support and fulfill our Kickstarter commitment. We sincerely thank our backers for their continued support. To activate Oculus Rift from within Steam, simply right click on Theme Park Studio from within your game library and click 'Properties'. Next click 'Set Launch Options', type in -oculusfullscreen ( for fullscreen mode) or -oculus for windowed mode.
In addition, this build also contains the following new features:
Four new coasters (Giga, Dragster, Floorless, and Inverted)
Animated brakes transport tires, and new LIMs
Block segments
Multiple trains per coaster
Dynamic track selection (change coaster track type even after you build your design)
Dynamic train length
Advanced Properties Panel
Custom Train Importing
Brake hold time
Fullscreen mode
These enhancements will greatly improve on the quality and realism of your coasters.
Most of the audio has been recorded and over 200 samples created. Audio will be integrated over the next couple weeks. We will also be finishing wood coasters for the final Stage 3 release.
Finally, before our Early Access launch, we built multiple custom rides for backers as part of their rewards program. Now that some of the dust has settled, we will be returning to that portion of art production and finishing off our custom ride list.
In case you missed it, here is the September park of the Month by EMC2.
We look forward to continuing to work with you during Early Access and appreciate your support!

This coaster is going to be great, I'm really happy with the outcome. I didn't want another B&M hyper in the park, but I think they did a great job putting together something different. Yes it still follows the tried and true B&M design philosophy, but this coaster doesn't look boring in the least. Those fast turns are going to offer something Intimidator doesn't. It's just a rendering, but those airtime hills without trims look pretty powerful (not Intamin powerful, but more powerful than Intimidator). I really think the final product is going to be great, not a no.1 contender for myself (c'mon, just cause it's taller doesn't make it better than i305, that experience is going to be hard to beat) but maybe a no.2 spot on my list. Looks like a lot of fun. The new front entrance is going to be really cool.

Harmony hall looks great! So glad we finally have a nice place to eat, food looks good too. It reminds of the performance hall in BGT, very nice addition! I might have to head over there next week to check it out.

Their coaster line up is pretty solid. It has been a few years... but I don't think the park is aching for a new coaster. I'd like to see new flats, a dark ride, or new slides next year.

I spent last weekend at KD and had an absolute blast. The park was dead all day and night Friday, Saturday crowds didn't pick up until 6-7pm. Longest lines were the log flume at ~15-20 minutes, and volcano was much longer as always. Got Volcano out of the way both mornings and everything else was pretty much a walk on most of the day. Until Saturday night i305 was never more than a 3 train wait.
FoF beat the hell out of us this year. Which is really disappointing, we had a lot of enjoyable rides on it when we visited last fall.
We got on Grizzly after a heavy rain on Saturday... and we stayed on it. Did at least 15 runs on it before getting off. Not sure if it was the wet track that did it, but it was running great. That airtime into the tunnel Hated it last year... Maybe I should have given shockwave another chance
I love this park. The atmosphere is just so great and the coasters are excellent, the food is great too. I hope I can make it back later this year. The 5 hour drive makes it difficult, but it still beats a 1.5 hour trip to carowinds.

The place was dead when we went a few months back as well... Really had a blast at the park. The refurbished flats and go karts were a lot of fun, White lightning was great.. food wasn't bad either. I spoke with a few different ride ops and they all said they've been staying pretty busy when the weather is nice (it was cool and rainy the day I went). I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Orlando.

Really looks great, can't wait to see the rest!

Seems like someone posted the POV a little early...It's coming up as a private video now.
Try these.
Looks like a blast.

Hurler at KD has been closed since the park has been opened. Was Hurler just closed that day, or has it been closed the entire season? If its been closed, then kinda coincidental that they're both closed...hmmm..
Not sure how long it's been closed, but people have ridden it this season. It just got a new turn, this season, so I'm doubtful the park is planning anything devious. KD on the other hand, who knows. It sure wont be missed if it comes down, but IMO, it's closed for other reasons.
No idea what's up with the seat belts, if it were all about making riders feel safer... why not the rest of them? What's so special about the new trains?
-
Operations on Intimidator were miserable today, 45 minute wait, line went back through the first switchback but that was it... Both trains were waiting in the break runs before the third was ready to leave the station... I've NEVER seen it so bad.
But I know why this happened today. Bad news fellas,
Ricochet looks GREAT (the cars could have used a touch-up, though), Hurler was closed, Afterburn looked good, and even though it looked like they were working on Thunder Road this year, they haven't finished the retracking. I don't think they did anything, to either side. Rode ok, not much worse than last year. Overall nothing too exciting, bummed Hurler was closed, next time.

I really wonder why they chose to remove the old rides to build volcano. The coaster is great and all, it just seems odd to remove what sounds like an excellently themed area with several rides... and toss an ugly (sorry, but it's hard to argue with me) coaster on top of the mountain left behind. I guess in those days it just made sense to squeeze in a new coaster. Shame I wasn't able to experience it before the transformation.
I'm itching to get back to KD, I love what they did to spruce up the place.

So has nobody had the chance to make it to the park? Are the new improvements just not worth posting about?
I should be going this weekend so I'll be able to share my thoughts.

Seat belts aren't going to change the quality of your ride You'll still float over the hills just the same.
This thing is a HUGE people eater. Even on the busiest of days wait times are very short. I'm usually fine with seatbelts, but considering how slow the REST of the park operates... ugh. I'd hate to see Intimidator slow down! Hopefully this is bunk.

I'd love to see parks install new Vekoma loopers, moderate sized ones in particular (though the mega looper concept still looks awesome). Most inverting coasters these days that appeal to a younger, height restricted audience, are the rotting remains of old Arrows. I know parks get more attention from announcing something, "never before seen" or ,"bigger, faster, BETTER". But I'd take a new Vekoma looper over a Wingrider any day.
-
^^I may never ride Shockwave again, but the airtime hills would have been a blast if that helix hadn't hurt my ribs so bad.
My point about the wait time was that i305, one of the best coasters in the world, was a walk on the same morning a Togo stand up had a 45 minute wait.
Riding a coaster standing up is appealing to a lot of people, regardless of how "good" the ride is... That's all I'm saying.
-
I had to wait 45 minutes for Shockwave, a miserable Togo, while i305 was a walk on.
The GP love stand ups.
I think B&M's new design philosophy would suit the stand up much better. High G's and snappy inversions are great on inverts, but make stand ups very uncomfortable. Long, slow, flowy layouts probably wouldn't be too bad standing.

I went to BGT last week...
I don't understand the love for Kumba either... I hated that thing. Beat the hell out of me. I like forceful coasters, but Kumba was just painful.
Montu on the other hand was *awesome*. The airtime on Cheetah Hunt took me by surprise, what an enjoyable ride. Just goes to show you (ahem, B&M) that you CAN build an easy going, enjoyable coaster that still packs a punch. I could never be terrified by a rollercoaster, but creeping ever so slowly over the edge on SheiKra was the first time, since I was a child, a ride has ever made me feel uneasy. I now see why it's such a huge hit. Scorpion was great. The wild mouse was... a wild mouse. And Gwazi was closed! This made my decision on weather or not to bother riding it quite simple.
-
Lines weren't bad on opening day last year. Waiting for Nighthawk is always miserable, even on a quiet day the line can near an hour... Everything else should be fine, the popular rides might have a wait time of 30 minutes or so.
-
Congrats on getting a park finished, it looks great!

I've had very few headaches with TPS, everything has been pretty smooth. There are a few quirks, but the team is working on them. Early access isn't the finished game, read more about the development roadmap on the steam page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/254590

Negative forces win every time.
The ride could have boring, slow twists and curves, but good ejector air would save it. If the ride has lame airtime, no twists and curves are going to save it.

Don't bother with universal, I went three times when I lived out there and regretted it every time. It just isn't a fun day.
Knott's is a MUST, my #1 favorite park in so cal, nice atmosphere and great rides. I left the state before the recent refurb but I wish I could go back to see it.
If you want the coasters, head to MM. They do have a lot of credits, but they aren't great credits. You'll have fun... maybe not a whole lot of fun. Don't go for the sake of X, ride the manhatten express in vegas and call it done, it's practically the same thing
Disneyland/CAA, both nice. You wont be able to do everything at both parks in one day, so that's up to you. They're both great parks, and there are some attractions in each you wont want to miss.
If I had two days in the area, I'd spend a day at knott's, and a day between the disney parks. If I had one day for parks... It'd be knott's, but that's just me. If you want MM and another park... again, it's knott's

I agree with A.J. here, They have never said that.
Anyways, this game looks really great! I cant wait for it to be fully released eventually. I'm glad they are taking the smart approach to making it successful.
The goal wasn't reached in the kickstarter, so they are not committed to porting it over. Current plans are windows only. Of course, that may change in the future, but for now, the answer is no.
The more support for a mac version, IMO, the better... So by all means show your support for it- I'm just answering a question.

There will not be a mac version.
