The entire SFOT park is closed all day Saturday and Sunday 11/23-11/24 for weather.

They took the NTG blue train off as I was just about to reach the platform. It was really cool seeing that slide switch track. they put it back on towards the end of the day though

I love riding the Titan because you can see the "SFOT Graveyard". The old PTC Texas Giant cars are still there along with the old dark red mine train cars.

I rode the Judge Saturday night and my goodness I needed a chiropractor after that. I'm not even 25 yet and I had to get my chiropractor to adjust my neck today. It's good that they will be renovating the ride.

I feel bad for the ride operators sometimes. When I was in line about to board superman, the nice ride host during the pre-ride safety briefing about lose articles noticed two men ignoring him and facing the other way, so the host went up to them two and told them to put their hats and sunglasses in the bin, the man then resumes to drop F-bombs in his face in front of other children. I'm suprised the host didn't call security. Anyway I felt bad for the host but point being if you're going to Six Flags, just leave your bad mood at the front gate for crying out loud

SFOT already has mechanics and engineers working on the power "situation" for Mr. Freeze and Batman. This year during HIP they are keeping both of these rides open for the holiday season.

Mr freeze is the one with the longest line. It is almost to the entrance of snowy's mouth which is ridiculous

The line starts at under the train bridge but it's not bad. However the Rangers game is about to end so the park should get packed after that

Also, if there was a fault in the security system? wouldn't the ride inspectors have noticed something during their daily 5:00AM inspection?

The reason why Mrs. Esparza died was because when she pulled the lap bar down, she did not place her back to the back of the seat but instead she was scooted up with a considerable gap between her back and the chair and the air time hill after the first drop became fatal. Even a person of a lot smaller size would have fallen out if they had been sitting like she did so weight was not a factor. When you ride a car don't you almost always put your back completely against the car seat? The local news report of the accident makes me cringe. I lost my sh"t when they said the restraints "clicked."

The Shockwave is a very old roller coaster and has well outlived its lifetime. When it does open make sure to get plenty of rides in before the ride shuts down permanently in a few years

Linders, I'm afraid it would be asking to much to have the Shockwave open this weekend. It is possible but to be on the safe side I would guess open by the end of the month.

The Shockwave should be open either before Fright Fest or very shortly into Fright Fest. I'm ready for ALL the rides to be open!

The next big project that SFOT will have is a complete makeover of the Judge Roy Scream. They won't make it a RMC upgrade like the Texas Giant but they will be replace the entire track with new wood and repainting the entire thing.

The reason the woman fell off the ride was because there was a considerable gap between her back and the seat and going into the first airtime hill before the banked turn caused that gap to become fatal

Don't ask me where I got this information but a source at the park has confirmed to me that the New Texas Giant will open next weekend. Six Flags Over Texas was not at fault from the accident and the woman failed to adhere to warning signs posted before the ride entrance

I'm going to the park tomorrow so I will post an update on here about the Shockwave and Judge Roy Scream. I have a dilemma, I have a fear of heights but I can ride Superman: Tower of Power no problem. I may end up riding the Texas Skyscreamer but I'm terrified to.

I saw the Judge running while I was on the top of the lift hill of La Vibora on Monday. A family that was walking in front of me asked the security guard when the Texas Giant would be open
