^^ Your idea on the location of CW Whip makes sense, seems a logical layout.

Just wondering if the Moon Cars will be relocated or gone for good.
Hope SF has plans for the Moon Car track, as it will look pretty awful as it rots away around AT's Turnaround.
Will buildings get removed when they Install Catwoman Whip at the old Tower's Site? I'd imagine some would.
Speaking of rotting concrete, hope they have plans for the remaining portion of the Go Kart Track.
SFStL has a lot of work ahead of them, all the half-baked areas (tidal wave, go kart and moon car roadways, and general emptiness)

Upsetting News about Josh, I always enjoyed reading his posts.
Prayers to his family and friends

I would think Excalibur would get the axe first over Superman ...if the decision was solely based on Maintenance.
-
I also find it shocking how multiple people were totally cool with making the decision to ruin the aesthetic of one of the most beautiful coasters anywhere by slapping down the world’s ugliest boomerang in front of it. One of the more frustrating decisions Six Flags St Louis management has made—and there have been several!!
Is Boomerang even operating this season?
I really doubt SF puts much thought or care into the placement of their rides these days. They just slap them in where ever there's room.

Sign looks great! thx for posting

Will Catwoman Whip be open? How's the Park's new entrance looking? Any Pictures?

I love to see Six Flags St Louis owned locally, then it will get all the undivided attention it needs. Remove all the current nonsense theming ... ie American Thunder in World's Fair ??? it is obvious they did this to keep all the crappy Evel Knievel Motorcycle props. The Comet, paying homage to the old St Louis Highland's Coaster in Forest Park would be an excellent name. I doubt any Six Flags brass would know about the Highlands.
Anyhow... Hope that made sense, just my 2 cents

Wonder if it will be around for grandkids and if anyone will be laughing at a gray haired old granny riding it?!
Not sure about the Eagle, but the Ninja will be there for sure.
-
The Ninja just made the TPR 2019 Top 10 Worst Steel Coasters (non-clone) list, coming in at #9. Finally, something to hang our hat on.
..and yet my gut tells me it will still be around for another 10 years.
-
that's cool. Inside or Outside of the Park? ...or Both?Construction is starting in the front mall area to improve flow and appearance. -
for you fulltimers at SFSTL, anything exciting happening around the Park lately??
-
Visited the Park yesterday... very nice weather for Dec 22nd. The park looked very good wearing it's Holiday attire.
I checked out the former Tidal Wave Site and noticed once again Boomerang was not running. ...I have yet to see that coaster function (I don't visit that often). Anyhow it got me wondering, with TW now removed and with an additional removal of Boomerang that would offer a nice plot of land for a Raptor or a nice Grand Entrance and Station for a new Signature Steel Coaster to be built off to the East. Just chewing the fat here Folks.
-
It’s not the 2021 ride location so no need to hype.
Okay okay... it's the location of the Station of our next Coaster right??? haha
-
Great news in the Carousel ... Bye bye Tidal Wave. Hope 2021 brings something well overdue.
-
Anyone in the park this weekend will notice a big change.
The recent wind storms knocked down the Ninja! ????
-
Got an update on Xcalibur, any word on Tidal Wave? staying or going???
-
^ American Thunder always delivers an excellent ride, best coaster at the Park

I understand why they did it. They had to modify it for rider enjoyment and to keep maintenance to a minimum. It is a 20 year old coaster now and needed to be tamed, as most wooden coasters that age. Now The Screamin Eagle is an exception to that rule - Strong, Fast and Powerful as always.
-
I rode the Boss Saturday, first time in about 4 years. It is much tamer than it used to be for sure. The First Drop is still very good. The Mid-Course Trim Brakes brings the train to a severe halt (probably due to the shortened track) and it just barely creeps over the 3rd hill. The 2nd half of the ride is not very interesting at all, especially without the Helix. The ride may not cause the headaches and bruises like it used to but at a cost. It's just not fun anymore.
-
Spending money to fix Boss's helix has the revenue increasing potential of bringing back guests who may have stopped attending due to Boss's deterioration.
I would think they did this to lessen the chance of someone getting injured and avoiding potential lawsuits.
ie. Lessons learned with Son Of Beast.

Freeze is also a Shuttle Coaster ... we really don't need 3 of those.
