What is your favorite TV-series?
gerstlaueringvar replied to Hattuchili's topic in Random, Random, Random
How do you guys think about the new shows? Is your favorite show coming back this year? I think I will like Gotham, Modern Family is just a few days away from returning! Can't wait! -

Lynet looks like an awesome ride. I love how Gerstlauer put two surprise pops of airtime before the MCBR's. Does the positive G really feel as much as 4.5? Gerstlauer's brochure said so but it doesn't look like a coaster with tons of positive G's -
I think people would celebrate when a bad ride is removed or getting "treatment" and start saying they miss the old version after a while. I've read about people missing the original Rattler, SoB, Texas Giant and even Psyclone when the new version or replacement are clearly better. I believe after a few years, some people will start saying they like Colossus and Cyclone better.

Both have CCI woodies Black Pool Pleasure Beach and SFM -
X2, it's awfully rough and I hate how it beats me from every directions. SEFK, for a coaster that focus on speed and height, at least the backwards launch can be a bit stronger. Hell Cat, can't believe I rode it twice! I think everyone being drunk kinda influenced me that day Hair Raiser, Now I call it Hades1440.

From the video it looks not just a little bit bumpy I'm so worried that the fence at the front of the train would fall apart. Also the transitions look so much slower than the newer GCI coasters. Did you like it? -
I actually hope we CAN'T see it from the parking lot. Why the hell not? Im hoping more theming and scenery is put in place to prevent this coaster from ever again being a "parking lot coaster" So you want SFMM to build up a giant ugly house to enclose TC then put some special effects that wouldn't work after the opening week?

Thanks for posting the pictures of those BGW Arrows, I love the look of Drachen Fire. Is DF's layout designed by B&M or Arrow designed this based on B&M's style? My personal top 8 Arrows: Magnum XL-200 SFMM Viper Gemini X2 Thunderation Road Runner Express SFGAm Demon Dragon -

Both have inverts Lake Compounce and Sochi Park -
The S&S tower doesn't look as fast as the standard combo towers, probably it's due to the height or the mode it's running. The ring is so big that they can easily fit in a few more seats. The wild mouse already passed the level of MCBR The Ride, it's E-Stop The Ride! I have to say I think the color scheme of the GIB is weird and I'm not a fan of that. A lot of people seem to like the color scheme a lot. That little coaster is so cute! I think they are putting magnetic fins on drive wheels to push the car. Anyone knows who the manufacturer is? It can't be Pax because they quit making roller coasters I'm guessing IE Park.

Hotgo Park in Fushun China
gerstlaueringvar replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yes, the 5th generation SBL SLC does that to avoid the coat hanger. I don't know if it got more comfortable though. Is it just me or the color scheme of the knock-off SLC is pretty special? They actually made a knock-off SLC looks better than a real Giant swing. -
Arrows, Arrows, Arrows.....

Agree. I think vekoma would be a good candidate for that model with their family inverted trains. Those family invert trains don't seem to swing nearly as much as the old Arrow trains. Maybe Ride Centerline can come up with something. -
Hotgo Park in Fushun China
gerstlaueringvar replied to Gutterflower's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That's a huge amount or curse words! Even more than TPR's Manhattan Express POV! The park has some pretty nice flats and a decent woodie, but they should at least clean some of the construction work up before opening to the public. Seems like Shibaolai sold them a whole package of knock-off rides -
Arrows, Arrows, Arrows.....
gerstlaueringvar replied to tarheel1231's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Arrow is great, I really like their forceful loops. I don't think coat hangers are really that bad unless the transition is too sharp. Ron Toomer uses one rail as axis and the other rail twists around it, with the looper train, the track twists pretty close to heart line which is already better than some other manufacturers. But Arrow is not as good as Schwarzkopf+Stengel for sure. Even the success of KBF Corkscrew has a lot to do with Werner Stengel. -
Worst Ride Name
gerstlaueringvar replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The actual translated name of this coaster is "Long Steel Roller Coaster of Suspension" HAHAHA! That *might* be even worse! Long steel coaster of crowd suppression! THAT would be an accurate name, as I imagine the ride beating people into a pulpy, vegetable-like creature. They probably want to name it something like Steel Dragon Claw but they found a kid from the 3rd grade to give the English name. You made it sounds even worse. But I like it
