A couple of things.
White Cyclone is rough, but not unrideable. Just not that pleasant.
As for the park being clean, that's ALL of the parks in Japan. You can't even find a trash can but they're all so clean!!!!
Basically all of Japan. I ran into the problem of finding a trash can several times after finishing up a cup of coffee. I got to the point where I'd just make sure it was completely empty & keep it in my backpack til I either found one or got back to my Airbnb. It's crazy how clean Japan is compared to NYC or London while also having like 99% less bins.

I came here from Screamscape to see if anything new was found for WoF lol. Does look to be GCI at KI but who knows really. Gets me excited about what might be in the works for WoF though! Has anyone been to the park and seen any changes lately?
Imagine being around when OE got knocked down and everyone was certain it was gonna be Patriot going there. Still a shame all that land is unused.

- Really impressed with the increased quality of food (especially Epcot and Be Our Guest) since my last visit a couple of years ago.
This. Between 11/07 and 11/12, they really stepped it up a notch, Epcot as a whole really. Went from "Nice little side visit then back to MK" to "Why are we bothering with MK at all? More beer and bon bons please." I spent most of a day there and still had only seen a fraction of all the improvements.

Come on Worlds of Fun. You're falling even farther behind in the long run! I also figured we would get a Windseeker, but since there has been no announcement yet, I guess not. Wow, that's three years in a row without getting something. Damn the park is doing horrible.
As someone who used to think "My park didn't get something this year, CF is either selling them or closing it!", they are doing just fine for the moment. I'd rather see general improvements made then maybe something in a year or two.
Now Oceans, while not feeling any pressure from the always unfinished Schiltterbahn(I'm out near there nearly every weekend for Sporting KC games, it has looked the same for too long), they still need a major refurb. Feels like Napoleon might pop out at you at any moment, just how 80s that joint feels and looks these days.

I went two full years without riding a coaster. Rode Prowler for the first time Friday night at long last.

The one game playoff was supposed to take place yesterday, but was postponed of course due to the fact that the Vikings-Packers game was there Monday night, preplanned.

My 96 Olds Cutlass that's been with the family since 97 finally gave up, and the car replacing it for me makes me a giant hypocrite. I have to drive a pewter PT Cruiser for the time being, bleh.

Metrodome just won't die for baseball. Too bad that either the Tigers or Twins were always going to get swept by the Yankees. They are just too good.

Also the Hawks need to rerelease what was the Winter Classic jersey that is now the 3rd jersey already. Also gonna get the Flames throwback for my birthday.

Grand reintroduction. Been around for a very long time, fell out, partied and acted horrible for a while, cleaned up, went back to school, here I am now. One big run on right there.
I'm Cal, don't recognize a lot of names here now, but hopefully I'll make some new friends.

Very glad I planned ahead and am heading down there again for this year's event. Looks a lot better this year compared to last year.

^They have a Club Blood already. One thing was confimered though, this new attraction will be shorter than Boomerang, which is 125'. I place my bet on a GCI.

I still cant get over the fact that I rode the same ride 4 years ago.
It just doesnt look right, at MOA and WOF, it looks good with the pillars and in the way stuff at MOA, and the creek and fountain turnaround at WOF.

I'll have to look through some of my old photo boxes that we got from my grandparent's house after they passed. There are bound to be countless photos of WOF in the 70s and 80s in there. I know there is a ton of Extremeroller pics because my aunt won a contest to be one of the first riders after they converted it and the family was invited to the grand reopening.
