An $8 car wash. It was SO needed...

Hades 360 with PTC trains. At least there won't be "leg banging" (anyone who has ridden X2 knows) on this one. M&Ms or Skittles?

Just finished Friends. Loved it! It's up there with Will & Grace as one of my all-time favorite TV shows. -

That's good to hear. These little Gravity Group coasters look great. Does Wooden Warrior have two trains? -

I didn't think either of the Flight of Fears were particularly smooth, but the one at KD was better in my opinion. I like Joker's Jinx more than both of them though. -
And what's funny is I actually really liked Deja Vu at SFMM the few times I rode it. But those new Premier trains on Goliath are just awful in every way. I'm excited to try Aftershock at Silverwood whenever I bite the bullet and decide to drive up there, apparently that one is the best of the bunch.

I would not have a single issue with the park ripping out both Goliath and Flashback and replacing it with a single, awesome coaster. It's unlikely the park would do this soon, especially both at once, but both rides (particularly Goliath) sit on some prime real estate for the park. If maintenance costs get high enough and ridership drops, it wouldn't surprised me. I really hated all three of the Vekomas when I went in 2016, but apparently Mind Eraser/Riddler is actually pretty good now so that just leaves two. Luckily Wicked Cyclone and Superman are both awesome enough to make up for the park's crappy rides.

I'm definitely getting excited for 2019, but I also think it's important to keep manageable expectations. We all remember what happened with Full Throttle. Also, if 2019 indeed brings a coaster, I can't help but recognize that their 20th coaster could've been added in the year 2020 with all of the extra marketing that would bring. But then again, I'm not gonna complain about a coaster coming one year sooner! lol

At least in my opinion, I don't think soft straps would really help Kingda Ka. Aside from the front row, I found the problem to be in the extreme vibration and almost jackhammering of the train rather than any sort of head banging. I think I remember reading somewhere (maybe it was on here) that TTD is way smoother because of the lap bar trains and their lower center of mass (plus, well, CP maintenance). I think new trains like those on Red Force would help KK, but I doubt that will happen.

I wonder if this is all because of the trains bumping or if all this downtime would have happened anyway? I'm really crossing my fingers that we don't have Lightning Rod 2.0. But I know Cedar Point / RMC is doing everything they can, considering the insane popularity of this ride. -
The park has been really busy this week, so this Sunday should likely be busy too and it will be hot near 90 degrees. I would run to either Ghostrider or Hangtime first. Both coasters will have waits in the 1:30 - 2-hour ranges. Xcelerator and Silver Bullet will be closer to 1 to 1:30-hour waits. The rest of the park will range from 10 minutes to an hour waits. Ghost Rider first, then Hang Time/XCelerator. No way Silver Bullet gets a 90 minute wait. Some of the smaller coasters have had longer waits than Silver Bullet the times I have gone on the weekends. ^This is definitely true, assuming it is running two trains. Luckily this is almost always the case now that they have the third train. Even if operations are semi-decent, an entirely full queue on Bullet (which is pretty rare but definitely happens) isn't much more than an hour. On the other hand, GhostRider's line is very often over an hour, even if the bottom level queue isn't full. Operations on that coaster are horrific. Unfortunately HangTime doesn't seem much better, considering the triple stacking and abundance of empty seats more often than not. I absolutely love Knott's. I grew up with the park and it's one of my favorite places in the world. But operations at the park are pretty abysmal.

Great report! I agree that Xcelerator and HangTime complement each other really well, not just in ride experience but in looks as well. It's nice to have Xcelerator, HangTime, and Sky Cabin all open. The Boardwalk is finally alive again! Also, I couldn't help but notice all the empty seats on HangTime. It looks like it's between 1 and 3 almost every train. I wonder why Knott's (or Cedar Fair for that matter) hasn't considered single rider lines, considering their popularity at Disney and SFMM. And if they are triple stacking all the time, a third train makes almost zero difference. It's only useful if they dispatch a train while the previous one is still cycling the track.

Sometimes it's nice, at least for hardcore introverts like me. Dealing with people can get exhausting. I have absolutely no idea how you've managed to avoid Cedar Point over the last 8 years, living only an hour away.
