Theme parks are full of Sweat, snot, spit, and whatever bodily fluids you can think of. People don't wash their hands after using the bathroom. I once literally saw a young girl piss herself in the Boss station. No one else noticed as it ran down her leg and she stayed in line. That watch though... "ewww grosssss"

SFSTL has been taking a year off from major rides since 2008, and look where that has the condition of the park? It's the same conversation each year. "Take a year off and refresh the parks." The same parks take repeated years off. Meanwhile, they get the same mediocre water treading refreshers that other parks in the chain get, including the ones receiving the major additions. SFSTL fans can't even get RMC treatment on what has been the roughest roller coaster in the chain since Rattler. We'll pass on the "let's take a year off" philosophy. That has been the idea since 2020 for the park, and still half of the Go Kart track remains along side of roped off areas and piles of dirt in plain view. The new paint and 5 refreshed flower beds don't make up for not being able to bulldoze and grass seed major eyesores. Although, next year the park is getting a snow cone weekend as a highlighted event, so it's not like it's being completely disregarded.

^Absolutely It wouldn't make sense to carefully remove the cable and leave all of the other hardware untouched. Why even bother? I see this as a better sign the ride will reopen rather than be demolished. Also, taking one car doesn't seem like much of a head start. Refurbishment? No idea.

From what I've been reading, Mamba has less uncomfortable airtime hills than Magnum? I can't remember much about the ride, other than not caring about much past of the helix.

All I heard was the usual, "we aren't getting any new rides" and Kids Boo Fest. If it were just my wife and I, nah. Pass. It's just not worth our 50 minute drive. We've essentially been riding the same big thrills since 2008. That can be argued since 1998. Justice League has been our biggest investment, and even then, meh. It's always closed, effects aren't working, and they have completely given up on the 3D. It didn't take long for it go become an official member of the Six Flags ride catalogue. I mean, I just don't see a reason to renew our passes next year. Maybe for our kid, but then again... they probably won't even have the carousel fixed, in all seriousness. Outside of Fiesta Tex, nothing in the chain even interests me. Fiesta Tex seems like it has the highest remarks about atmosphere and scenery. I watched a youtube video about a fight at Great Adventure and the area around Nitro looked more like a scrap yard than a theme park.

Hah! No, I really did like Freeze in its original form. I love the launch through the tunnel, being pressed up against a seat, and looking straight up into the sky before falling backwards. I liked how the seats cushioned you to a stop coming back into the station. Launching backwards feels unnatural to me. When SF pulled the Reverse Launch gimmick, it was the height of my hatred for SFSTL. It far surpassed anyone else's shit talking on here.

But what about the new façade on the shitters by Justice League?? (Which leads to the bathroom that we all expected to be refurbished, but remains the worst in the park.)

I was super butthurt when Mr. Freeze made the switch. It used to be one of my favorite roller coasters. Regardless, nothing is happening with the ride now.

I don't know if it would really make sense to just turn the trains back around, although one can dream. I think the conversion was more work than some people think. SFoT is doing this, along with building Aqua Man. I can only imagine if whatever they're doing at SFoT is marketable, we'll get it as a sole new attraction. There won't be any other projects happening for that season.

Mr. Freeze Forward Chill coming soon. (Please please please for the love of God.) This won't happen, but I'd go back to Texas to ride it... It was one of my absolute favorites in its original form.

You're confusing civil law with criminal law. I'm familiar with Illinois criminal statutes, so this is my example reference: Reckless conduct is covered under 720 ILCS 5/12-5. The law states that a person commits reckless conduct when he or she recklessly performs any act or acts that; Cause bodily harm to or endanger the safety of another person. Cause great bodily harm, permanent disability or disfigurement to another person. But... It would probably get plead down to a noise complaint and 30 days probation, anyway... If it resulted in death, there would be a $300 fine associated with it.

Clearly you've never done any wood working. This is a one-of-a-kind middle finger, and it takes time. I have a friend who doesn't even like theme parks, but she asked me about it and said she was going to come see it. They have one of the knuckles on display, and concept art of the finished product. As long as we can all agree that our opinions are better than others, it will have true value. The thought of people feeling differently than I do about this attraction hilarious. People other than myself are idiots and fools. Consider it 2022 politics. You're grouped in either flavor, even if you're close to the middle and lean ever so slightly one way: I submit myself to WoF, as this is the greatest attraction in the world. Anyone who doesn't worship the park for this addition hates the park, is entitled, and knows nothing. I'm not renewing my season pass to WoF, and I'll never go again. Maybe WoF didn't deserve a giga, but at least give us an Orion. I hate you WoF and I hope you catch on fire.

I like the road. It's quirky and part of the charm.
