  1. I could see them moving Boss' queue a little.
  2. ^Yeah, finally some good news. Six Flags made a good decision.
  3. Yes, Frida looked very smooth. It will hopefully provide a more welcoming experience for my little girl's first coaster. Holidog Express is probably a little jerky.
  4. Time to give credit where credit it due. Great job Six Flags.
  5. At least I didn't have to wait long for the controversy to begin.
  6. Just increase the height limit and offer more family rides. It makes you wonder how many times this has happened. It also gives you an understanding of the importance of height requirements. Why?
  7. I won't be stupid enough to fall for anything before it happens.
  8. I understand nice restaurants, but it's a pizza place... We specifically take Eve to local family pizza places when we want to be a little less concerned with making noise, or her acting like a 2 year old. Target market. As for controlling your kid, sometimes they're going to act like a kid, regardless. Hence, why a pizza place is a perfect place to chance it, not a steakhouse. There's a fine line between tightening the leash too much, or too little. If anyone is caught in the crosshairs of Roma's pizza at 5pm on a Friday night, and Eve wants to get reasonably noisy after her 'also' long week of daycare, sucks for them. It's even more of a gamble if our niece comes. Hamburger joints, pizza places, and a lot of chain sit-downs are training grounds. Trial and error is how they learn to behave, but I'm not putting her in chains when she drops a fork, spills a glass, or gets a little louder than library hour. She gets better every time we go out, and it was through practice. My personal rant: My hernia sucks today from hockey last night. I'm waiting it out as long as possible until I have to get it looked at.
  9. I think I've been calling the discoveries endeavors since day 1. I remember being excited about Wonder Woman for about 2 minutes before I figured out it wasn't what I was thinking it was.
  10. Are we sure they really have a plan? Are there any signs anything is being done? I'll believe it when I see it.
  11. No one thinks the park wanted to remove the ride. But, I think what a lot of us are upset about the likely future of that area. There's going to be an empty concrete pad for a prolonged period of time. Eventually, something cheaper and less thrilling will go in its place. If you were a betting person where would you place your money? On what I just said, or do you think something like a Zamperla Discovery will be constructed there? Ask yourself where you would put your $100,000 bet.
  12. So it will have been closed, refurbished, reopened, and removed all in the time it has taken to sand a primer some wooden horses. What kind of 100 rider per hour capacity ride are they going to get to replace it in a couple years?
  13. Raging Bull says hello. One of the most underrated first drops in the industry.
  14. I have a children's book I read to my daughter about Knoebels restoring their carousel after it was almost completely destroyed in a flood. I mean... There's no way that's not fake news... Our Santa Claus books seem realistic compared to our current situation.
  15. I hope they fill that carpenter's position soon, for the carousel.
  16. The general public is not going to notice that the physics aren't spot on. Lucky bastards.
  17. I don't think roller skaters are all that smooth, either. I would have pissed myself with joy in Saint Louis. Especially having a kid. We get nothing, and like it.
  18. They wouldn't have to go full TSA if they pushed the issue on ejecting anyone who has their phone out on a ride, and placed clear emphasis on it.
  19. How's construction moving along on the new children's single rail coaster?
  20. When I saw the coaster stuff paired with the horses, that was the moment I realized the rumor probably wasn't true, or just a practical joke. No way we're getting season passes without Slushy Sundays.
  21. I don't know why that name bothers me so much.
  22. What's the height requirement on those things? Cringeworthy coaster name. Edit: Reading is good.
  23. At this point, I'm not holding my breath.
