I was just reading at Loopings.nl that KMG have advised that all owners of Afterburners close their attraction until further investigations have been done. And it says that the ones located in Lightwater valley, Thorpe Park, Drievliet etc have been closed, Just an update for those wondering whats happening currently to other afterburners

Hey all, First off this isn't a recreation, as I find that far to difficult but I'm trying to keep as much to the style of a Disney Park as possible. I am using mods in the game, but a lot of the in game stuff is actually pretty useful. So far i'v made the Entrance train station, main street and the castle. I really want to do a Tower Of Terror but i don't know if that will fit into a Magic Kingdom style park very well. This game is brilliant and I recommend buying it, Iv had so much fun building this so far, Its been a real challenge to say the least. Let me know what you think?
The Mickey in the flower bed thing was so difficult to do, this was the best i could get.
Starting with the left side of the main street
and now the right side
general over view
And this was the first castle i'v ever made. It turned out okay, Kinda sloppy on the back side
Castle entrance
The sloppy back side
And an over view of the castle plaza area

Being a potter fan I did love the Harry Potter world, But what I love more is coasters. And I couldn't care less if Dragon challenge is HP themed or not I love them anyway. Having just visited both IOA and US I had a great time, but I couldn't help feel the overwhelming selection of 3D and 3D screen rides was too much. And after I rode 2 or 3 I was kind of done and wanted something else in terms of variety, I ended up being like "oh okay another 3D rides lets get this one over and done with" ( saying that I did really enjoy Spider-man and Kong) I get the impression that universal wants to have more immersive worlds than a cracking coaster line up, okay I get that if thats what they are going for then its totally cool, But i'm just worried that removing these two coasters is making room for yet another dark ride with 3D screens and that to me is so sad, haven't they got enough off those between the two parks already. Having ridden a Mack inverted dark ride, I just can't see it living up to the thrills that DC offers. If they get removed, they get removed, little ole me can't stop that, but I just hope they get sold to another park as a pair or separate if all this actually happens.

Did you see any shows at any of the parks? I haven't been to Sea World in 17 years so I'm sure a lot has changed but they had some great animal shows and exhibits back then. Cedar Point has a fantastic show called All Wheels Extreme and I love their roaming brass band that plays fun songs around the park!
I did see the 'Dolphin Days' and 'Pets Ahoy' at SeaWorld which are very good, Didn't get a chance to see anything else as they just didn't work out with my kraken return ticket time things and with how long I waited for Manta etc and eating in-between plus my shuttle came at 6. At Cedar Point I didn't see any shows, maybe I should of taken the time to do that, but I was just in Coaster Heaven and just wanted to ride everything so much. Thanks for your kind words about my trip, I need to plan one for next but i just don't know where to go yet.

To be honest the waits all depended on what time of day I did which ride. I was there 3rd 4th and 5th of July. Heres roughly how it was..
Magnum - walk on
Blue Streak - Walk on
Gemini - walk on
Rougarou - walk on
Corkscrew - walk on
Woodstock Express - walk on
Cedar Creek Mine - walk on
Power Tower - 5 mins
Gate Keeper - 45 in the morning, afternoons 15 mins, after 8pm a walk on
Dragster - closed mostly but I waited 20 mins. When it opens later it gets a surge of people so can be 60mins
Iron dragon 20min - VR iron dragon 60mins
Wicked Twister - 45min after 8pm a walk on
Raptor - 45min after 8pm a walk on
millennium force - 45min all day but sometimes a 30min
Valravn - 90mins - after 8pm a 10 min
Maverick - 90mins - early mornings a 20min

on Wednesday the 5th I was on the 3rd or 4th train after it opened in the evening on TTD that launched, but our train we didn't even make it a third of the way down the launch. And we came to a dead stop and rolled very very slowly back to the station to be taken off the train. One thing I noticed is that the catch car was really far ahead of our train down the launch track, to me it seamed like the dog on the catch car broke and left us behind mean while the break fins had popped up and forcing us to stop. Any one else every experienced what seamed like an E-stop on launch? The ride was down and had only opened for 15 mins max and then I think it was down again all evening.

Hey all, I just got back from my awesome holiday and I wanted to show just a few of my favourite photos from each park I did. I flew Germany to Orlando and Orlando to Cleveland. This was my second time to Florida the first time being 15 years ago, so I had a lot of new stuff to see and do. Due to my time frame I had to sacrifice a park that being Magic Kingdom, and this time skipped water parks. And then I made my first, a long over due trip to Cedar Point. Due to my time frame and how the flights worked out I couldn't make it to Other parks in Ohio but maybe next time.
First off I never really had anything negative to say, I overall had a fantastic time. I never once used fast pass or bought refill souvenir cups or loads of merch etc as I was kind of on a budget, but I made it work and actually managed to ride every coaster 3 or 4 times despite the fact it was peak times and being solo made it easier. My favourite attraction on the trip was 'Avatar Flight Of Passage' it was incredible and I just didn't expect it. My favourite park was obviously Cedar Point. My favourite coaster in Florida was Mako and on the whole trip it was Maverick.
I love Surprises and there was a few rides that I thought i'd ride once and then that would be it, but I ended up returning to them over and over. Gemini & Magnum both were just so enjoyable and quirky I absolutely loved them, which was a total shock to me. Another was Cobras Curse, I thought it would just be a kind of Average Family ride, but no, I totally loved it.
Rides that I still loved but were kind of underwhelming were, Cheetah Hunt, I don't know why but my expectations were greater for some reason. Valravn, now I still loved it but I thought the restraints really effected how it rode compared to Shiekra. And Gringotts for went down the 3D screen path too much and I wished it was more coaster, still a fantastic attraction but I kind of thought that about the whole of universal, there were only so many 3D screen rides I could do before I was kind of done with it but again regardless still fun day.
The Line for Avatar was crazy but I waited anyway as a lovely store worker in the gift shop said to me if there's one thing you do today then it's Flight Of Passage, And man she was right. Speaking of long lines Kraken Unleashed wrapped up a 420min line....thank god for the save your spot on line service so I managed to ride it twice, but with out VR as I do get a tad motion sick with those kind of things. But the VR just took so long, one train was dispatched every 15 minutes creating the long wait.
Now for a few of my favourite photos from each park that I took.
Hogwarts Selfie
Loved the Hulk, And I loved the new trains.
Totally loved this compared to other 3D rides
Splash down!
Red Dragon was still my favourite out of the two just like I remembered 15 years ago.
Next was a universal,
Rip Ride Rockit was rougher than i thought it'd be.
Loved the non inverting loop.
Spider-man..sorry Transformers
Cobras Curse was excellent
Monty proved it was still favourite of mine.
My first big dive coaster, Why do we get the small ones in Europe??
Kumba was good classic B&M goodness
Cheetah Hunt gave a really long ride which I liked
Nasty spinning coasters haha
Animal Kingdom was next, and this was the day the massive storm came.
Loved this attraction, great theming and idea.
Pandora was just spectacular everywhere you looked
The floating islands.....made great shade for when the sun was blazing.
Next up was a visit to Hollywood Studios
One of my favourite themed attractions
Great fun and much prefer it to paris.
And I also prefer the original Tower or terror to the paris one.
i literally went to Epcot for 2 hours as a quick evening visit.
and did just Soarin and Test Track.
So I managed to get to the FunSpot Parks
Mine blower kicked a$$
Fast passed and loads of air
The other Funspot was larger and had a couple more things to do
White Lightning was real fun, for for the family compared to Mine Blower
And freedom Flyer was a really great family suspended coaster.
Last day in Orlando I went to seaWrold
Mako was a walk on, so I did it 4 times in a row
Manta had operation problems, and had a real long line, and no duel station happening.
Mako is the distance, my favourite Florida coaster
Bye SeaWorld
Then I made why why over to cleveland Ohio
MF I'v dreamed of riding this, I actual greyed out a little on the first overbank
Maverick had everything I love on a roller coaster in one.
Gatekeeper, Im not a big fan of Winged Coasters but it was huge and really long. No pun intended.
Valravn, Damn those tight thigh restraints.
Photographs well tho
Rougarou was awesome! Now my favourite Floorless coaster
MF and Rougarou magic
Magnum took a little piece of my heart.
More GateKeeper
Wicked twister, as iv said many times I don't like going backwards so much, so I only rode once
Raptor was all kinds of crazy! the speed it takes the elements was mental.
That big a$$ inversion
Classic Corkscrew, with an Airtime hill??
Dragster was down a lot but I rode it 2 and a half times......3rd time we had an E-stop on launch and got taken off.
Magnum in the sunset
Gemini, was a Gem of a coaster. Who knew... well not me.

I got ride mine blower last night and it kicks serious butt, really fast pace from beginning to end, great pops of air, I didn't find it unsmooth at all. Throughly enjoyed it
-
What a coincidence, I'm going to Cedar Point from Germany as well on the 3rd. But I'm also going to the park on the 4th and the 5th. Kinda hoping 3 days will let me do everything at least twice. I wasn't planning on getting a fast pass as I was at Magic mountain on 4th July 2 years ago and it was dead. But after reading you all say you should probably get one il think about it now or just judge it by how the first day goes.

1.Movie Park germany - 62Km
2.Toverland - 101Km
3.Phantasialand - 117Km

nice update. Next time you guys plan to go to London give me a shout if your wanting to see any shows, 9 times outta 10 I can get discount or cast rate, As you know i work in the Musical Business my self. Hope you enjoyed the shows any way, always nice to see that you like musicals as well as theme parks
-
How was the queue for you? When I rode it on Monday it had a constant 30-40 min queue with only one train in operation all day.
-
I feel like its been a while, but really nice to see an update. Looking good as always. Have you thought about using SMD LED'S? they come in all tiny sizes and are fairly easy to use with a bit of soldering practise

Hey all, So Movie Park Germany is my homework being about 25mins away, and plus because of where I work I get 50% off entry price SCORE! so I haven't been to the park in about two years, But I wanted to go check out the new Mack coaster Star trek Operation Enterprise, so today was the perfect opportunity to go ride it. The weather was 34 Degrees all day but the park wasn't really busy at all, every coaster was running only one train but I got a walk on to ever ride apart from Star Trek which had a 30min wait all day.
So Star Trek, Never judge a ride by a video, I must say seeing the videos of this ride I was a bit disappointed, But it actually rode well and I enjoyed it. The ride is not intense what so ever so if your looking for that then your not going to find it. I sat in the back, and the first launch is just a little something, the backward park was cool and being at the back you travel up the spike quite far, The third launch was okay but nothing intense. The drop out of the tophat thing was good and you got a real pull, The inversions where cool if you like hang time and then the last section has some nice pops of air time and a few whippy curves. Overall really enjoyed it. The second time I rode it broke down in the transfer section before the launch so I had to sit waiting for about 10mins but soon after it was up and running again. The queue line was also cool and has a nice pre show with some nice theming. This and GoldRush are both a similar concept but both completely different rides, With GoldRush being in my eyes far more superior.
MP Express, was just plain darn right awful. Worse than I remember and after riding I questioned my self as to why I actually rode it. And same goes for the Bandit.
Van Helsing was down all day which was a shame because thats actually a pretty decent attraction.
The High Fall is the best attraction in the park, I got four riders, and its a drop tower that really packs a punch.
All the water rides were perfect for the weather and me and my fiancé had an overall wonderful day.
I see a new coaster to ride
The park entrance
its running!
Inside the queue
This cool mapped projection was awesome
The new park area entrance
The ride entrance
You can get some get shots of the ride form the entrance of Bermuda dreieck
I Guess this is like the new signature shot of the ride
Drop tower my favourite
And this one is so intense.
Ghost chaser a wild mouse coaster
Jimmy Neutron is a pretty decent family suspended coaster
Dora the explorer was perfect for a hot day like today
A lovely empty mainstreet
Van Helsings was closed
And this needs to be removed.
NOW

Good to hear! Anyone here been on it yet?
Not really the correct answer to your question but I'm going to try and go on Monday and try it out as it's my home park
-
I definitely want to swing by this place and check it out. Very helpful!
If your in the area i'd definitely give it a visit, So cheap to get in, I just checked on line for tickets as in the summer I believe they are 27 euro instead of 10. Maybe a half day kinda park if you were wondering. Im planning on going to Italy to visit Garadaland & Miribilandia for mine and Ritschy's Honeymoon next year as well

Hey all, Today I took the 2hour 15min drive to Slagharen, This wasn't a park I was ever really bothered about going to until they added Gold Rush. If a park doesn't have a decent coaster then I'm not prepared to drive more than an hour to it. Any way, Entry only cost 10 euro so already no complaints! The park was very quite apart from the school trip of kids who were everywhere but they left around 3.30/4pm so then Gold rush was kid free and I got a few rerides.
The park had some strange operations maybe to save money on running attractions or staff? I don't know but rides would share operator so while Apollo was open, the Free Fall Tower was closed and then vice versa. This seamed to be happening on many attractions through out the park but it didn't stop me riding what I wanted to. I thought the park was clean and tidy and the attractions had a nice bit of theming. The Circus show was great! The magic tricks were awesome and I'm still trying to work them out now.
So... Gold Rush! It was so good, They were only using rows 1,3&5 for some reason all day, which meant it had queue between 5-10min which is still nothing really but for an empty park I was a bit confused. But the back row rides amazing, the launches are forceful, the drop out of the first Top hat is intense, the injector airtime on the airtime hill was so good, and the snap action in the last inversion felt awesome. My only complaint with this ride is the seats cut into the backs of your legs as the staff push the lap bars in so tight. But I really rate this coaster, I think it is on the same level as Lost Gravity and I loved that. I hope the Star Trek another shuttle launch coaster at Movie Park is as good as Gold Rush as they are both a similar ride.
other rides I enjoyed, The Free Fall tower was actually more intense than bigger ones i'v ridden like Lex Luthor so really enjoyed that. The LogFlume was cool, And the Junior coaster was nice and sweet. And I hit up the Water Park later in the evening as it was open till 8 and the entrance fee is only 8 euro and me and my Fiancé had a blast. Overall a wonderful day had.
We are here!
it's empty yay!
I love drop towers, and these Fabbri ones a really intense
That me on the left side
Gave Apollo a miss but it looked like a really interesting chair swing
The Junior Coaster did what it says on the tin and with extra rattle
Was fun anyway a actually had a couple goes.
Log flume was perfect for a hot day like today.
The cable car ride was very handy for getting to the other side of the park.
Over the main entrance plaza
Getting Closer
Is see Gold Rush
Here she is!
Such a great ride
And it's been placed very well in the park
The drop out of this tophat was cray cray
Over the top
Very snappy dive loop, really great ending to the coaster

I'm aware this is somewhat of a rant, it just I've been itching for something new, and the easiest park to offer me that keeps silent about that new thing. And I wonder if I'm the only one who wonders why this ride still has no opening date.
I feel the same as you, This is my home park and i'v also bit itchy to ride something new, and because they released a POV before park opening date I was expecting it to be open on that date. But I feel like its taken a very long time to get open. And i'v just kind of given up hoping it will be open any time soon. All I know is that they had a competition to be the first to ride it which actually finished today, so maybe it will open soon?
-
I'v only ridden 4 actual hypers So I place them in the order below. And Even though their not above 200ft, they follow the style of hypers so Expedition Geforce and Goliath at Walibi would be in at number 2 & 3
1.Shambhala - Miles above any other
2.Silver Star - Very much like nitro but I liked it.
3.Nitro - Kinda of forceless but regardless a fun ride.
4.The Big one..... The Blackpool Monorail ZZZzzzzz
Just 8 weeks until I get to ride Mako, Millennium force, Magnum etc i'm very excited.

Great tr! What happened at Alton Towers?
I was just joking about the enterprise as I think the last enterprise I rode was at Alton Towers many years ago, It made me feel funny and I threw up in my dads car. So I haven't been on one since haha
-
Is anyone aware of any coupons, codes or other discounts for single entry to Movie Park?
I'll be there May 13th.
Thanks,
Peter.
This german site offers some discounts to various Dutch and German parks http://www.parkerlebnis.de/guenstige-movie-park-germany-tickets-2017_5444.html

Hello all, as I had the day off from work, I took the 2 hour drive to Walibi Holland, This wasn't my first visit but last time Lost Gravity was being built.
It was a really great day, it got really sunny in the middle of the day which was nice, The queues where up and down as it was kind of busy, The first ride I went on the Express Platform 13 which I waited 30 mins for, The queue line is really awesome though, But then later on in the day it was a walk on. It was better than I remember, was smooth and the launch was good.
Then I headed to Lost Gravity which blew my mind, Looks so much better in person than from videos and the trim break wasn't as strong as i'v seen in POV's Pray the lord for the Single Rider queue because I used and abused it.
I waited 40mins for Goliath which was doing a 1 Train operation, but it later switched to 2 and also became a walk on so I got a few rides and the new colour scheme looks great, reminds me of a tiny Millennium Force.
El Condor...... I skipped, once a few years ago was enough.
Robin Hood was running well, I waited 10mins, Its not a bad coaster at all, Yes it's rough but it has some cracking air time.
And speed of sound had a 15 min wait, and for a Boomerang its pretty good. Nice vest restraints the theming is cool, the tunnel makes its that extra bit interesting.. I'm still not good anymore at going backwards on rides, Still blaming Namtab in 2015 LOL
So on to the photos..
The entrance main street if you will
We arrived!
Literally one amazing coaster
Loved the theming
Great drop
upside down
a definite must ride if you haven't
Thats this element called? was weird but I loved it
Thumbs up for air time and drop, everything
Not the worst.. Good ole Vekoma Woodie
Break run, the moment you thank god your alive still
lift hill shot
more lift hill goodness
Space shot, I love a good tower ride
Great centre piece for the park
Gave this a miss i fear of feeling sick - Not as tolerable as I used to be
I thought this Huss magic was cool looking
Also gave it a miss, One time at Alton Towers I went on an enterprise...... you know how that turned out
El Condor! ..... Photographs well
If only she rode as good as she looked
Obligatory Shot
lift hill, I love this coaster is great and packs a punch
Geek shot
The Queue Entrance and a view of the lift
well...The best boomerang i'v been on, how about you?
Loop de lopp
It's kinda tricky to get pictures of Express Platform 13 from inside the park
This was taken from the rapid ride station
Rapids!!!!
Was actually a pretty good flume!
And as we left I took a couple photos of blue Goliath from the car
And one last one

Hello everyone, I went to Bobbejaanland today for my first time in Belgium, it was about a 2 hour drive from my house in Germany. I arrived there at 11. The park was really quite and the maximum queue length all day was maybe 5 mins. The coaster collection is great for families and the water rides were great Too. Highlight of the day for me was of course Typhoon and I really enjoyed SledgeHammer the Huss Giant Frisbee. The only thing I think that needs Improving is how dirty the coasters are, a repaint is in order I think. Me and my Partner had a great day and didn't have any complaints, Its really fun park and worth if a visit if your near by.
Can anyone tell me whats with the ferris wheel device with the drop on the river rapids? was that once operational? It looked like a cool concept so I wondered why it wasn't working anymore.
So anyway on to some photos from our day
Yay i'v arrived
First coaster of the day was Typhoon as its right by the park entrance.
This was a great dark flume ride,
A view of Naga Bay from across the lake
And another nice view across the lake.
Dream catcher was good
It didn't swing very much but was fun anyway
Speedy bob
Weirdest ride ever...?
Naga Bay or Dizz spinning coaster- loved this ride.
One of my favourites of the day.
So high in the air!
The bobbejaan Windmill
loop de loop
Thats me waving...
Great drop
Spinning calm river ride of doom! and a nice view of Typhoon

I think i know what happened.... as i use mods, I use the track edit mods a lot to create for free coaster layouts and since the latest update theres been a few glitches with track connections Dam! great that your using no mods, I'v got to a point where I literally can't play with out mods as I use them so much, I guess that's kinda shame in a way
Shanghai...

Hey Rob, Im planning on going to Shanghai around the 23rd of November,
I'v tried looking up the dates that Disney operates but the website isn't displaying past July. Do you know if the park is open in late November? and also Happy Valley Shanghai? do you know if that is open in November? I used google chrome to translate the happy valley website, but im still confused wether its open or not.
thanks
