TPR Harlem Shake on a Roller Coaster?!
XYZ replied to tbear212's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't want TPR to have a Harlem Shake video. They are annoying and stupid. -

Looking good Brock. Just put some mountains in Laguna Lagoon since Laguna Beach, CA is located on a side of a mountain. -
[NL] Zierer Kiddie Coaster
XYZ replied to FaithnotForgotten's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It looks really nice but a few things are bothering me: -This is a family coaster not a kiddie coaster. 39' is way too high for a kiddie coaster. -It feels like an Intamin not Zierer. -Mid-course braking? Really? Other than these minor complaints, it looks really good and the station looks amazing. -

I'm seeing all these September winners getting a BOC, though mine has not arrived in the mail yet. I don't want to rush anyone, but am I on the sending list? Thanks. (Here's where I won the contest) -
[RCT2] PROJECT I: Playland Park (NCSO)
XYZ replied to XYZ's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
1931 - 1932 Update In the midst of the Great Depression, Playland Park continues to be operating as usual from the wealth of the Richardson family. Though, one event in particular will greatly change the course of Playland history... In 1932, Playland Park opened Bumper Boats, one of the first ever built. It replaced Golf-by-the-Sea, a miniature golf course that existed in the 1930 & 1931 seasons. - - - - - - Something that changed the history of Playland Park... - - - - - - In 1932, a tragic moment happened. A great tidal wave surged its way through the beach and into Playland Park. The tidal wave rose water at levels 10 feet from the ground. The current guests in the park swam in the deep waters. Big Dipper right up to the water. The water created much damage to the park and scarred the lives of thousands on this hot summer day. Jack Rabbit over water. After the tidal wave, the park was abandoned. Richardson couldn't pay for the damages and re-open the park. Plus, that tidal wave scared many away. The park was shut down and ceased all operations. Playland is no more. Playland Park: 1913 - 1932 -
Darien Lake-- season one

The park looks nice, but tone down on editing your screenshots. I need sunglasses to see your photos. Yeah, I get how it is supposed to be aged photos, but it has too much aging that it makes it hard to see what I'm looking at. -
SFDK has a really nice skyline especially from the parking lot:

Honestly, there is no coaster in SFMM "not worth riding" as the only coaster that can be painful is Green Lantern. Revolution & Viper have headbanging, but its more that they can be uncomfortable rather than painful. If I were you, I would ride both Revolution & Viper to see for myself on what they are like. How is Green Lantern painful? Does the restraint push into you? I got a very painful ride when I was upside down the whole time on area #1 on the above image and I was right side up on area #2. In those two parts, my body was pressed very hard into the OTSR painfully. Plus, I got massive headbanging. I got on a "good ride" on Green Lantern and that was my last ride. Green Lantern is just not my type of coaster. Photo source: destinationthemepark.com
