Which is also a good thing. Iv'e always said CP and HP share similar qualities.
-
Yeah, I deff agree. It originally was in Founders Circle, way back when! But I think it works well(in theme) in the area. I'm happy.
One of the many things I love about HP, they HATE taking out rides(especially flats and coasters) Instead of scrapping Tilt for Skyrush, they made room elsewhere in the park to do it. Hey, it all works.
-
Tilt-A-Whirl is going into Founders Circle.
And that's almost a 100% layout of Skyrush, it actually goes a bit down further the creek, but, yes, the station and queue provide a basic understanding where it is(Like I said in my previous post)
-
The station is where Tilt-A-Whirl was, and the queue is where the bathrooms used to be(and a bit closer to Looper) In simplest terms.
-
Seeing Skyrush in person many times, it is definitely 85*. No doubt about it.
-
That pic that I have up, the track closest to the camera is coming out of the Stengel Dive.
-
There's the image from the last post.
-
I agree. It does reach an 85* angle. The entire way? No, obviously.
-
Turning out to be a very cool looking ride! I can't wait to ride it.
-
It's not. Seeing it in person you can definitely see the point where it drops 85*
-
The capping will most likely happen tomorrow.
-
Oh, yes. From that angle they are MUCH different. Thank you for posting that.
-
That looks like a really fun ride. I think it will be a good addition to Ocean Oasis'. Being at the park many times, I plan on returning back in 2012. I'll definitely be going on Wipout. Hopefully construction pictures will be posted somewhere soon.
-
Iv'e never been on a Windseeker. Hopefully i'll make it to one of the parks that have one this year. I'm excited seeing this one go vertical!
-
Wow, those the two hammerheads are very similar. How tall is Nitro's hammerhead compared too this ones?
-
Like I said, i'm mainly basing it off Hershey's history making the rendering(like the one we're discussing) very accurate. We'll find out for sure soon enough when trains arrive.
-
Hahaha, certainly coaster hyperbole no doubt with the 900foot Skyrush. That picture will be on the map cover no doubt. The placement of attractions doesn't really matter. The ad gets the point across. Showing Hershey has family rides(Kissing Tower and Carousel) Showing they have a waterpark(The Shore, Intercoastal Waterway, and Coastline Plunge) Then, showing coasters(Comet, and of course, Skyrush) This will be the star of advertising until after the ride is built. Thus why I call it the "final rendering" Considering Hershey won't be releasing any more renderings that aren't actual images(based off their history) And, history repeats itself.
-
Gotcha, thank you for the response.
-
Following Hershey's history, yes, this image is the final rendering.
-
I noticed that too. Considering Hershey's u sally VERY accurate with the final rendering(being that first picture you have) I would say lapbars. And one of my friends is friends with many of Hershey's "higher up's" who have all said they are expecting lapbars, but the final decision is up to Intamin. As far as the contest is concerned, you make your own animation. You can't use any other still pictures or music except the one's provided in the toolkit.

Is it just me, or does it look like the supports could be re-painted? Or are they already to paint them once it's completed?
-
Congrats to both of you guys! The page looks awesome, I can't wait to see it when it goes live!
-
I love the "Fun and Only" song, always have. HATE the repetition and them using the same few flat ride pics on each commercial.
-
The cable would also have to go over the creek!
