  1. Also it all depends on how you approach us, if you begin to get angry because we have done our job and lash out with the un-necessary swearing or threats of violence, then chances are we aren't going to feel any sympathy in watching you collapse to the ground in tears...if you go about the situation calmly and nicely then your chances of a clean chase-free escape are more in your favor.

  2. Hey guys went to fright fest tonight it was fun. But my friend was verbally assaulted by a gould in a scare zone saying "You should try som proactive for your face" and "You look like the lesbain version of justin bieber" and my friend started staring at him cause he was pissed. and then the guy opened his arms and said went something like "Do you want my body or something?"

I took this up with one of the guards who was watching and he said thats his job and that i'm over reading it. argued with him for a minutes and then he asked me to leave the scare zone. and threatened to kick me out of the park

I love FF and Six Flags but this just pissed me off.

Yikes.. Not sure how they train their talent over at Six Flags, but that's crossing the line of acceptable comments made to any guest, annoying or not.. at Haunt we deal with some irritating individuals who come solely to cause trouble, but you can always tell a skilled monster by the way we respond, we get our point across without crossing the line..

  3. ^I'll have to keep a lookout for this...you know what my cousin look like by now, you can have loads of fun chasing and tormenting her, she's an easy target as you saw

haha, She's the one who challenged me and said I couldn't make my clowns come after her I'm not sure when the next time i'll be out in costume will be, I just got lucky it was a slow sunday so my boss let me run around for about 45 mins, it was nice to know I still haven't lost my touch hearing guests ask where my character went for the rest of the night

  4. Thanks to those of you who have gone into the Gauntlet and said Hi to me haha, I got to hop back into costume last night and show my monsters how a pro handles scaring =p

Behold, making "her" first appearence, I present..

    "Ash-Schlee"

Suffice to say, it was amazingly fun to skip as flamboyantly as possible through the fog.. not to mention making people so confused as they tried to figure out if i was really a girl or not, only to run away screaming after I switched back talking in a deeper voice.. it was a success hahaha all my talent want me to come back with this character more this season =p

P.S. I Invented a new sport.. seeing how many napkins i can stack on top of a guest's head while they eat funnel cake.

  5. ^^Great report and pictures as always!

Looks like the Gauntlet has improved already. The problem I had with the scare zones on opening night was the fact that there wasn't really that many monsters.

Thanks haha 1st year as a Sup, so i'm trying to build them up as much as i can haha..

We (Gauntlet) have a start time now at 6:30pm for the Boofet guests, unlike last year where they didn't open until 7..

  7. I just don't get all the negativity. Until I see evidence otherwise

    Fixed.

In all honesty folks, some of us love parks for more than just it's coaster count.. a lot of us have tons of memories here, and it's kind of sad to see the majority of people only care about who gets what rides from the park, rather than have concern for the park itself.. Like I said from day 1 of this being announced, i'm looking forward to see what they can do for the park, I have no reason to believe they won't help get it back where it belongs, CGA is truly a great park and I have no shame defending it

  8. Stop being so negative!

“Great America is an excellent addition to our portfolio of hospitality and entertainment properties,” said Todd Chapman, CEO of JMA Ventures. “Great America is one of California’s most popular family attractions and we look forward to preserving its unique appeal while at the same time bringing new ideas and energy to the park – particularly in developing the exciting synergies that will emerge between the new stadium and Great America.”

The City of Santa Clara, which owns the land Great America is built on, must still approve the sale. If approved, JMA is expected to begin operating the park by the end of the year.

“This is great news for Santa Clara and for Great America,” said Santa Clara Mayor Jamie Matthews in a statement. “The amusement park has been an important part of our city for many years and with the addition of the stadium and other development proposals that are coming forward, we are excited about creating a premier family entertainment destination for Northern California.”

KCBS Insider Phil Matier said the move is not a big surprise.

“It’s one of the big pieces in that puzzle down there. Santa Clara said that we want the 49ers, but we also want Great America,” Matier said. “Great America felt left out of the deal. There were a lot of legal threats going back and forth, especially over parking lots and who would have rights to them. This way, the 49ers can take over the whole show.”

with that being said, NO you cannot have Flight Deck.
