I mostly use Safari and Firefox, however thinking about ditching Firefox for Chrome. Firefox seems to be more and more flakey and buggy lately...
As a long time user of Firefox for multiple years, I switched to Chrome in mid 2011 and have never looked back! Do it Robb!

I'll soon be upgrading my HTC Inspire to a HTC One X+ , I have no desire to change to an iPhone until iOS really becomes innovative and more customizable than just the wallpaper. Android has had so much innovation and development towards it that make the OS really stand out from the competition, not to mention the plethora of choices you have. I personally do not brag about my Android phone and what it can do that an iPhone can't, as I dislike people who do that, and vice-versa. I will say though that competition is good for both Google and Apple. Both products are great, but I feel that Android offers so much more than Apple does and that is enough to keep me away, not to mention Apple's business practice of litigating instead of innovating (but that's another discussion )
PS, don't get lost with Apple maps!

It's not much, but like Robb says: "Even if you've ridden 1 or 100 wooden roller coasters, this is the one poll where YOUR OPINION MATTERS!!!"

Just in this morning from Atari:
Atari, one of the world’s most recognized publishers and developers of interactive entertainment, today revealed its upcoming lineup of new mobile games from some of video gaming’s most iconic franchises.Following the recent launch of Super Bunny Breakout™ with Zynga, the upcoming release schedule includes Outlaw™, a new take on an original Atari arcade hit, coming to iOS in November, and first-ever iOS releases of the blockbuster RollerCoaster Tycoon® franchise and D&D property with Dungeons & Dragons: Warbands. Additionally, Atari will be launching its first social casino experience with Atari Casino, featuring mini-game integrations of its popular game IP into slots, blackjack and more.
“We’ve spent this year focused on developing mobile games based on some of Atari’s most iconic and enduring franchises,” said Jim Wilson, CEO of Atari. “Our upcoming lineup should make clear Atari’s strategy to work with the strengths of our key franchises and offer our expanding global audience of mobile gamers a collection of accessible and fun consumer experiences.
Atari’s mobile games lineup features:
RollerCoaster Tycoon (iOS and Android, Q1 2013)
Based on the original best-selling management simulation classic which has sold more than 13 million units, RollerCoaster Tycoon is headed to iOS for the first time. As an up-and-coming tycoon, players create their own custom theme park, designing coasters and building attractions to gain new visitors and increase revenue. Players can choose from pre-designed rollercoaster templates, or design their own wild creations from scratch with the Roller Coaster Editor. With modern features like sharing coaster designs with friends, the newest version of RollerCoaster Tycoon offers an experience both long-time fans and newcomers will enjoy.

So there you have it; Roller Coaster Tycoon is coming to Android and iOS in Q1 of 2013! Discuss!

I have to write a 2,000 word process analysis essay on how to use the "format" tab in Microsoft Word!

Not gonna lie, I can't think of any other views better. Maybe that concrete coaster in either Spain or Portugal?
-
I'm pretty sure SFMM said that Superman would not be closed during the construction of Full Throttle.
-
^^ X2 with three trains would be worse than two-train operations. The block set up would actually cut capacity IIRC. Two-trains is fine because the employees actually hustled (at least when I was there) to get the trains out on time before the timer got to zero. Two trains also allows one train to always be rehabbed.
-
^ The only woodie where Morgan trains have done a great job is on SCBB's Giant Dipper! Single position lap bar= Airtime! Not to mention it is really smooth too. Any other woodie I've been on with Morgan trains was awful.
-
You guys would get a lot more downloads if it was on Android as well!

Great trip report of London! I actually got back to LAX from LHR on July 3rd! Great pictures! London is such a wonderful city, it is easy to get around and has LOADS to see! I also thought Changing of the Guards was quite boring and we left in the middle of it to go to the London Eye, Ha!

All I know is that I hope they don't hold out til after Aug 30th to make their announcement. It seems like all of the other parks have pretty much stated they're making their announcements on 8/30 but it seems like SFFT has held out from saying anything about any announcements. *crossing my fingers* hope we hear something along with all of the other parks.
Don't feel so bad, SFMM hasn't even acknowledged their is going to be a new ride or anything. We have heard anything out of them whether it be on facebook or anything.

Thats the BEST part! I drive 3 hours just for that half of a second. The worst thing about Hurricane for me is the space diver element (Think that's what it's called.), it's just really brutal.I totally agree, that was the best part! The trick was to keep your head back against the headrest and hold on to the bar directly in front of you. If you did those two things it is intense but very fun and does not hurt. I guess I am going to miss Hurricane a little bit!
-
^ Interesting, I was in the back car of a red train on the right side from the entrance. Maybe it does differ by side/train? I'm going to be honest though, it was a POS ride I had, rough from the beginning.
-
Colossus: This was the coaster that exceeded what I expected of this. I couldn't believe how amazing this coaster was. Colossus wasn't very rough and is very re-rideable and has the most airtime out of any coaster. Colossus is my favorite woodie in California (I rode Giant Dipper, Grizzly, Roar, Apocalypse, & this). SFMM did a very good job on maintaining this classic and I could feel how this coaster was built to be a world class coaster. Though, the MCBR has to go. The MCBR kills the last part of the ride and is my only complaint about Colossus. Also, SFMM was just running one side with two trains, so I doubt they will be running 6 trains anytime soon. I think Colossus doesn't need any topper track or Iron Horse track, all it needs is just a fresh coat of paint. Colossus has a 15 minute wait.
Colossus is a smooth airtime filled machine? LOL. Sorry but when I went on it last April I was literally screaming in pain from the roughness and there was one pop of airtime in the backseat.
I'm not bashing you or anything. I just find it funny that how we had two completley different rides. I still think Giant Dipper (SCBB) is the best woodie in California with Apocalyspe in close second.
-
This looks like a great choice! SCBB never disappoints! I realized earlier today that they probably don't want to put in a Eurofighter or an El-Loco because they have to keep the Giant Dipper the main attraction. I'm glad they went with Maurer Sohne instead of Gherstlauer.
Like a earlier post, this is a great addition and will work well as a replacement to Hurricane! It complements GD nicely. I love the name and the colors! Does anyone know where the station/queue is going to be?
Also, some people are saying that Waldameer has a clone of this, anyone else have anything to say about that coaster?
-
Anyone know what time the announcement is?
-
^ I wouldn't be that disappointed at a Maurer Sohne spinning coaster because they make the best spinning rides. Have you seen some of their spinning coasters in Europe? I'd rather have that over a typical spinning wild mouse.
We all can dream though. I personally hope for a El-Loco or a Euro-fighter, but SCBB always has a way of surprising so we will see!
-
Imo, green lantern was pretty awesome, but I dunno if blue fire guy has ridden it...
I swear that ride is bipolar, some people just love the ride and some people hate it. I thought it hurt your shoulders really bad and was just all around not fun.
-
^^ Have you been on Green Lantern?!? It's an awful coaster and it hurts in so many places!
-
^ Simple. SCBB mechanics/management take the best care of the ride. They maintain it so meticulously compared to any other park in the world. Not to mention it has never ran PTC trains either!
What is your non-theme park travel bucket list?
