The AP Physics Tower Challenge.... -Build a tower of note cards thats >=11" -Must support a 5lbs brick for 5 seconds -Can use only staples and folds (no rounds or cylinders) -tower must be 1 unit (no seperate parts) Heres the catch, the simulated money system... -each card, fold and staple costs a hypothetical $1 -to get an A, you must spend less than $50 hypothetically, $45 to get an A+ WTF?! I spent 3 hours last night and couldnt get anything more than 10" to hold, and when I did couldnt make it 1 unit. So, I know we have smart people here, anyone have any tips/ideas/suggestions for this? Or better yet, anyone do this before?

Instead of the hedge hedge, use the little pine tree hedges! Thats what i always do when I'm doing NCS.

Throw some color in there dude! It looks pretty good, but its really all green and browns. Your building is improving steadily, you just need a few touches of color here and there to perfect these screens.

My only suggestion would be to cut down on the use of the hedging fence object on the banks of the rivers and forests. In my opinion, that object is best suited for decoration inside the park, rather than for helping finish foliage around the forested areas of the park. Everything else though looks wonderful. Big big fan of that overview.

While it is depressing that Crosby will be missing quite a bit of time still, I breathe a little easier knowing that Evgeni Malkin is returning in full health and the best shape of his life. Anyone see his offseason training videos on NHL.com? The dude is one of the greatest stickhandlers I've ever seen. If he could have a season like his Art Ross year this year, it would soften the blow of losing Crosby. Either way, the Penguins are still a playoff team. If James Neal can find that scoring touch that he had with Dallas and Kris Letang has a season like his all-star year of last, its pretty clear that we'll compete for a division title. And, when Crosby returns, a Cup.

^The weird Thursday night games where anything can happen, makes for great TV IMO. Some of the other ones I remember are Dennis Dixon and Oregon vs. Arizona where Dixon broke his leg and lost his shot at the Heisman...and down went the Ducks with their #2 ranking. Before that there was Matt Grothe leading USF past #2 WVU, and then later Pitt shattered WVU's BCS berth with a LeSean McCoy-led upset of the Mountaineers. I'm sure theres much more, but when I think of the wild Thursday night games, these come to mind.
