  1. ^thanks I'll try to get some more screens up for all of you this weekend. But for now, if anyone else has any thoughts/comments/suggestions feel free to post.
  2. Needs supports. sorry, I had to lol
  3. ^its a joke robb sometimes plays on us. I forget what you have to type for it to change, tho. The chain is looking good so far.
  4. Looks good. Just add another block of space for the coaster to clear the drop thru the building on the first dive
  5. ^Thanks for the comment. I'm working on the station on my other computer as we speak, as well as forestation and the finishing touches to this area. I'd say this GCI is about 95% done, as for the park, approaching 40%
  6. Gaga-Actually the park is in southwestern Pennsylvania, just this ride is themed a bit to the Wild West. So that being said, with the location, I think I will continue will foresting the surroundings. Glad you like it though, thanks for the comment! Paradise-Thanks for the comment. I'm not really sold on my station either, so I think we may very well see a change in that aspect. Thanks. As for the rest of you at TPR, keep the comments coming! I'd love to hear what you all think of this so far!
  7. DJ-Thanks a lot for the comment. I think i will remove that fencing there, glad you enjoy the coaster so far. Braz-Thanks to you too. The screens are from testing so I havent put block sections in yet. I just wanted to get good results before putting in the finishing touches, block brakes will be added. Thanks.. Keep em coming boys!
  8. So to kick off this topic, here's my project: Cheseman's AP&Fright Farm, an amusement park located in southwestern PA. I havent finished much, its about 35% done, a 150x150 park. Here's the GCI coaster 'Maverick,' located near the back of the park. All screens are unfinished (those bare grass areas will be forested), please enjoy and comment!
  9. I'd make the woodie closer together. Instead of the gap space wide between the airtime hills, put the track next to eachother for realism purposes.
  10. I'm not a fan of the Immelman-type inversion there, but the rest looks good. Oh, btw, go pens
  11. The woodie is okay, but the invert layout I have a problem with: unless you have brakes before that drop, the trains will be flying through that cobra roll=pain.
  12. I really dont like the tunnel of shrubs at the bginning of the trail
  13. The footers are a bit oversized, and I'd suggest a wider opening for the plunge through that building, but it looks good overall. Nice update.
  14. ^yea I'm down for another RCT2 contest
  15. El Toro was the one exception and I remember seeing it on a GCI press release that the coaster was designed to appease the "straight-drop fantatics," but with that curve at the bottom of the drop, the drop hasnt finished yet, so technically it is a twisting drop. I'm jusst saying what you have there is not very GCI-like. I would make a twisting drop, then continue the layout through the woods like Prowler at WOF.
  16. Well you could always throw some trims in there if youd like it to be more compact, less elongated on the transitions.
  17. The coaster looks ok, but GCI's always always always have twisted drops, never straight like you have here
  18. Thats looking good DJ, I like the I305 inspiration. The only part I dont like is the curve sections and the extremely long high before the curve into the airtime hills. Looks nice. Btw, i know how to merge, but is merging for the vertical drop that high up challenging? Is there any ways or pointers you have for doing a merge that high, or is it just like any other merge?
  19. Thats impressive. The terran interactions are superb and I agree, that swift dive over the station was awesome.
  20. I still think you need to lose the straight section at the top of the lift for realism purposes. It looks better now than it did before, but that's my advice.
  21. Thats a short layout, and i think the MCBR comes too early.
  22. Well done on the layout. Those Olympia Looping/Mind Bender (Alberta) compact Kopf coasters can be difficult at times.
  23. I think the layout needs to be much more tight and compact. Getting rid of the straight section at the top of the lift will help
  24. Titan is Giavanola...sfmm's Goliath is too. Those trains are Giavanola.
