^ You have an interesting definition of completely blocked from view. Nothing in or around the Raceway/Splashwater Falls area has changed since June.

^
Eagle Backwards opened today at around 5:00pm. -
Eagle Backwards opened today at around 5:00pm.

Apparently, they're having frequent minor delays, so testing is taking longer than planned. If Backwards Blue does open today, it probably won't be until late afternoon or evening.
-
I am at the park right now. Both blue trains are backwards and have started testing. If all goes well, the plan is that Backwards Blue WILL open later today, probably between 2:00 and 4:00.

"That just seems like something a park would never do due to the cost involved"
PTC had plenty of trains in for rehabs this past offseason. I don't remember all of the rides Tom Rebbie said, but it included all 3 Mean Streak (CP) trains, both Blue Streak (CP) trains, both Screamin' Eagle (SFSTL) trains, and Raven trains. Those are just the ones I remember, but there were atleast a few more

American Eagle Blue side is now closed for the backwards conversion. Current estimated wait time is 90 minutes
-
Would anyone here be able to edit the Wooden Coaster 6 Seater Reversed car to reduce or eliminate the increase in intensity? As it is now, it is just way too difficult to keep the intensity under 10 with the backwards trains.
-
^ Read To Succeed crowds are already here. Expect full queues on pretty much every ride until August 8th.
-
Leaked. Thanks WGN. American Eagle Blue side will run backwards again starting August 8th. Really don't get the timing here. As many of you may know, the Read To Succeed tickets expire August 7th, and in the days leading up to that date, the park will be absolutely packed. Not a time I would choose to have Blue side closed or open running only one train while maintenance turns cars around and moves brake fins and chain dogs.

^ Who said the coaster is going where Iron Wolf is?
-
^ I will agree that the ride was marketed absolutely horribly and the pre-show was too scary for a Wild Mouse's demographic. However I disagree with pretty much everything else.
-The queue is themed, maybe not extremely themed, but there is theming. For unthemed queue, see Ragin' Cajun
-Construction delays happen. But holding it against the ride is just stupid. I guess you also dislike Deja Vu, Vertical Velocity, and Ragin' Cajun.
As for it being a Wild Mouse, yes, we already have one. The difference is The Dark Knight Coaster works effectively and runs as designed, and because it is indoors, it doesn't shut down for weather. May I suggest we remedy this 2 Wild Mouse issue by sending the poorly designed horrid capacity Ragin' Cajun to SFA with Iron Wolf

^ One, that ride was in bad condition 5 years ago, and now definitely has no chance of ever being rebuilt. Two, Six Flags gave up ownership of that ride when they sold Darien Lake.
-
^ Superman ran late afternoon Wednesday the 13th - Sunday. So it has been open since the storm.
-
Superman was down and not even testing as of 7 p.m.---I left the park around then, so if it opened at the end of the night, I cannot be sure.
Superman hasn't been open since Sunday (It was closed yesterday too). I've heard the lift motor may be the issue, which would make sense because it didn't sound right last time I rode.
Demon and Whizzer were both on 3-train operation, but kept stacking them all day, didn't see the point.Demon and Whizzer will always stack one train during 3 train op. Demon because the ride is so short the crew can't possibly keep up, and Whizzer because they are not allowed to send the train until the previous train clears the MCBR. If they were stacking all trains though, then that is a problem.
Heard a "Very Intersting Rumor" though yesterday......there is a small section of (overflow) parking lot just west(northwest of park) of main parking lot that has been torn up and concrete piles are all over the place, and the rumor is that this section of torn up parking lot is the "Turnaround" for the new attractionYeah, that's not happening. Don't know whats going on there, but that is way too far out away from the actual park to be anything expansion related. No way for a coaster to get out there without running through Hurricane Harbor.

Anyone else having trouble downloading Ride Converter 2.1 from http://www.interactivitiesink.com/rct2/
Every time I try and download it, my anti-virus says the file is infected and I can't download it.

As most of you know, Eagle Blue stopped running backwards after the 2005 season, and many people (myself included) thought that it would never be done again for various reasons. Well, looks like that assumption was probably wrong.
The second picture picture was taken yesterday, July 15th, 2011. This is a car from the 3rd Blue train on the storage track facing backwards. Notice that it also has the tall wings on the inside side of the train like it did last time it ran backwards. In the first picture taken on July 12th, they had the backwards car on the main track in place of that train's last car.

Parks just can't win can they? Close a ride early, people complain. Keep a ride open until the end of the season, people complain when the new ride opens late.
-
^^ If you don't already have the credit, you should do Ragin' Cajun first, then go to American Eagle and ride which ever side is open (second side opens between 12 and 1). All the other coasters will be on Flash Pass, but I would recommend hitting Demon next after Eagle because Demon's Flash Pass is so poorly implemented that it may as well not even have Flash Pass.
-
^ Definitely a good call on the Gold Flash Pass. August 7th is the day the "Read to Succeed" tickets expire, so the park will be an absolute zoo.
-
^ They will probably get to Batman's wheel covers soon now that Raging Bull has all three trains operational. The four B&Ms and Whizzer are in the same maintenance section, so since the wheel covers on Batman are purely for looks, they get done last.
-
Both trains are wrapped. I assume the 3rd train will get wrapped when it comes out of rehab.
-
-
^ There was one at Bull, but it wasn't finished. They only had the base done so they put a flower pot on top of it.

^ You can still look through Raceway's queue building, and over the RC boats and cars, plus riding the Railroad, and technically you can still see from the smoking area. It will just be tinted green from the screen they put on the chain-link fence.
