The Voyager

My hopes for 2011 have officially been extinguished.. This was posted on Holiday Worlds Twitter about 2 hours ago. babytoolkit: @HolidayWorld Thanks for some great Labor Day weekend family time. Mrs Paula Werne has been very openly claiming that Holiday World will announce thier 2011 addition by the end of September. HoliHints are almost certain to be coming soon. Maybe our friend Tim Burr will be stopping by sometime soon?

Wow, I really just don't want to believe it. Its just to sudden. I've been to the park about 10 times this year and every time I've seen him he's been SO gueuinely nice. I saw him only 2 days ago, he waved at me and smiled. And to imagine that he never got the chance to ride the Timberliners. I'm gonna miss Will.. Will put 20 years of hard, loving work into Holiday World to make it what it is today; I'm confident that he would want it to continue to grow and put smiles on peoples faces for years and years to come. But the question still remains: Who will take over?

Just incase anyone was planning a visit within the next two weeks-- The Voyage is running only one train until the Timberliners can be readyed for use. Just some FYI for you. Thank god I got a season pass, I cannot wait to ride the TL trains! The Wildebeest was simply amazing! Just saying, it bloWs out anything in the waterpark by far! Great airtime throughout the whole ride. But on a side note, I'm sure it's on the back of your minds as well: when can we expect a new coaster? A steel one perhaps?Can it top the Voyage? Any predictions?
