  2. It'd be hard to have a park this well themed, and not take efficiency and capacity into considerations. It looks like the park handled that very well, even with the enormous crowds! Great photo TR! You never see enough "quality" Chinese park TR's, so this was a very nice change from that!
  3. I have no idea why I never came into this page before, but now I'm really, really glad I did. Wow! You put a lot of work into this, and it looks fantastic!
  4. Out of curiosity, would your coaster involve any scripting? It's been a big thing with those who understand it lately, and some have experimented with onboard audio.
  5. Black/African American. Either/or, I think.
  6. Wants to buy hoodies from the internet, but doesn't have the kind of money to be doing so... darn.
  7. Like what's on Arkham Asylum? If yes, then I sure hope so. That'd make T2 the top coaster in the park when it opens, if what the few reviews of it are to be true (unless the roughness is just too overpowering, considering it shakes your entire body than just bobble your head around). Great to have reassurance of this happening, and great to see one of the new water slides near completion of layout!
  8. Stuff I keep a very close eye on (and usually never let go, unless put in lockers). -Cell phone -Wallet -Small Collapsable Camera Bag, containing: --DSLR with standard zoom attached --Extra compact zoom lens --(Optional) Extra Fisheye Lens --Lens wipe case containing cloth and one or two extra SD cards --(If enough space, or wearing cargo pants) Extra battery If water park involved, remove collapsable camera bag and add: -Backpack -Swim trunks -(Optional) GoPro (just in case) -Edit: And, yes, a towel In terms of camera equipment, I pick only compact but versatile lenses for my camera body, so it's never much for me to lug around. I do take what I choose to bring into heavy considerations though for parks with no loose article cubbies for a lot of their rides and/or exorbitant locker fees (having both makes for a very bad day... ).
  9. It's not just the bicycle seats that people are complaining about, either. The fact that you're taking g forces while standing up can take a toll on your ankles, somewhat, too.
  10. There's too many in Orlando that I can't decide between...
  11. I don't think Intamin accelerators would be the best options for tallest coasters. Launch, to top hat, to 270 degree downward spiral, to optional hill, to brake run would be kind of redundant. If we do see something like it, then I'd expect it to be in the middle of nowhere like what Elissa said in one of the first pages. If anything, I'd think that Vegas half-pipe idea (though placed somewhere else) would be the way to go on breaking the record. That or [begin Idea] go for the top hat (like Fahrenheit at Hershey), but have a cable lift to speed the train to the top (like I305) where it can go over said top hat and drop over the edge... or something. [/idea] Outside of all of this, why go for tallest when we can go for longest again?!
  12. ^ You could say that < Then I'll say some stuff v Then you'll say...
  13. ^^And to those for the past 3 days! Side note: Not enough donkeys on this site.
  14. ^Yes. I meant the deceleration doesn't have to be as hard as it is with how much room there is for the train to stop. Somewhere (maybe) between 0.4 - 0.6 g's would probably be smoother with how slow it was going.
  15. ^Or with a brake run that long, a gradual deceleration would do better than going in and abruptly stopping along the way; but that's picky stuff. The ride acted more like a large family coaster since forces weren't very strong, and it seemed like the train could have taken the course at a slightly faster rate (minus the "slalom" part near the end). But other than those things, I liked it! Very smooth from what I saw!
  16. Monday Snowday.
  17. ^It should work. Minimum requirements for it is Windows XP (recommended is Windows 7), so I'm sure most programs that work there can work in Vista as well. I didn't see a basics tutorial on customizing lights yet, so I went ahead and made one myself. Quality is a little cruddy, but that's what you get with the $45.95 version of NL2 I guess. (I might upgrade someday.)
  18. ^Rode it, very nice! Great job! As for me, I'm getting started on my first complete-circuit hand-made coaster. Much like my NL1 coasters, I'll most likely put more focus on the park's environment than I will the actual coaster. Edit: It went from a worn 1930's PTC, to a worn 1930's PTC within a snowy amusement park in the middle of nowhere of Utah! Coming very soon to the exchange, look for "Frostbite."
  19. What about the direction heading towards the park's log flume. I've never been down that way, but I'm sure they could make a path leading to more space from there?
  20. ^Yup. I'd think it's more because of the circular loop and how fast it takes it. The feeling of rushing towards the vertical loop and getting a sudden jolt of heavy g's upon entering, slight floater at the top, and more heavy g's coming down, before exiting and suddenly feeling normal again! Something that makes Schwarzkoph coasters stand out!
  21. Freestyle machine Sprite sherbet mix (Sprite with 1/3 vanilla, 2/3 Orange flavorings).
  22. World Hold On - Bob Sinclair
  23. Feels like something that could easily replace Goofy's Barnstormer! Again, I'm still liking where this is going!
  24. ^^^ Not until I see some hair-time on Lightning Run will I be able to judge which is better. I don't think there should be any worry on them getting the coaster up and running. Smaller footprint should mean relatively quicker setup, I'm sure. They still have roughly 4 months until the park's planned opening.
