I agree, that non inverted loop does look massive. What a difference a week makes. I was there last Wednesday morning and there was no sign of the loop. BTW, does anyone know off the top of their head the height difference between the lift hill and loop? I just hope both parks have a ERT for season pass holders. ...or maybe a 15 minute head start to the rides.

^Why would they theme the queue to the Triwizard Tournament only to have the coaster themed to quidditch? Doesn't make sense. I'm going with the Triwizard theme at this point. Why not just use the Chinese Fireball and which ever one the blue dragon is from the books. That way, Universal wouldn't even need to change the color scheme of the coaster. ...I'm not counting on it, just saying.

According to reports, he'll never see that 100 million. More like 4 years/48 million. ...with 41 million guaranteed. -
Here's hoping the Yanks do go .500 the rest of the year.

9/20 for me. I'll be very impressed if someone can get 90% or better. -

If you run to it first thing in the morning, I'm sure you won't have a problem. They just want to keep the lines down later in the day, so the little ones can ride. ...Kinda like Pteranodon Flyers at IOA. -
Small Little Unknown Parks
alpengeist04 replied to CreditCrazy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Unfortunately, I don't think so. But I do remember the coaster and ferris wheel, along with the mini sports cars you could ride through a good portion of the park. Another park I remember as a very young child was Bertrand's Island on Lake Hopatcong in northern New Jersey. Unfortunately, it closed down in the early 80's and I was never able to ride the wooden coaster they had. -
Oh no, not this again!!!

^I know exactly where it was, I used to go there as a kid. I also had a birthday one year at Gametown. For the record, I was born and raised in Denville. -
What is your favorite TV-series?

The only current TV show I never miss is Smallville. As for the older stuff, it would be Friends, Seinfeld, and Everybody Loves Raymond. -

I actually like Storm Runner's launch much better. In my opinion, it feels more intense and it's definitely a lot smoother. -
^Of course nobody knows for sure except Universal, but I think there's a very good chance DD will still be open in May. Right now you enter and exit through Jurassic, so it'll probably be the same when you visit in May. ...Now the fall season may be a different story, we'll have to wait and see on that.

Front and back cars for me. I also like the third row from the front on the six-seater cars. IMO, a great coaster will allow you to enjoy a ride in the front and back. If the back is too rough, the coaster falls in my rankings. That's the only reason Boulder Dash isn't in my top 5 wood. When I last rode it in 2006, it was just too rough in the back.

I actually liked Waterworld too. Totally agree. The movie was over too quick though.

Track Spottings!
alpengeist04 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This thread cracks me up. ...61 pages over a piece of yellow track in a parking lot. Heck, some of the coasters actually being built right now don't have that many pages. -
