  1. That's definitely one fine looking woodie. Thanks for posting the photos, Robb.
  2. Nice job on the TR, thanks. Blue Fire definitely looks like a winner.
  3. That's exactly the reason for the re-theme. ...it's cheaper and it's a new experience without putting in a new attraction. I also agree that Great Adventure need more good flats.
  4. Nice job on the TR and I'm glad to see you made the most out of a subpar day. That's why I usually wait a couple weeks after a park opens for the season. Because I had the opposite happen to me at SFOG last weekend, it was cold and kinda windy, yet all the coasters were open except for Ninja. Also, the employees where all very polite and helpful. I'm sure things will be better on your next visit.
  5. Yea, I liked the TPR question. ...12/20 for me.
  6. ^IMO, nothing. The new track colors on both coasters are just too dark, but I'm sure I'll get used to them in time.
  7. ^No, but every clue seems to point to the Bizarro Superman theme.
  8. ^Why not go with the defunct Lightning Loops from Great Adventure? ...It would be double the fun.
  9. Very true. Kumba and Montu were built back when B&M made kick arse rides. ...though Montu has been tamed a bit. As for SheiKra, it's just not in the same league IMO. Overall, I would say that Dueling Dragons, Montu, and Kumba are the three best B&Ms in the US.
  10. I consider Batman-The Ride the second best coaster in the park. ...Second to El Toro of course.
  11. Yea, when I said I had no problem riding the Flyers a couple visits ago, I should have added that it was only back in November of 2008.
  12. ^OK, now I remember. Thanks for refreshing the old memory.
  13. Maybe I missed this earlier, but are they going to paint the whole track purple or are they leaving some of it red? Just curious.
  14. I'm keeping an open mind, but it's going to take a whole lot to move ahead of Dueling Dragons on my steel coaster list.
  15. ^If you go to Pteranodon Flyers first thing, you won't be denied. A couple trips ago I was able to ride The Hulk twice, Spiderman once, and still made it over to the ride without any problems. They just try and discourage adults when the line gets longer, but they won't deny you like the Taxi Jam kiddie coasters at the CF parks. It's actually a fun little ride even if it's too short.
  16. Excellent pics, thanks. I really like the look and freedom of Blue Fire's restraints. Intamin and B&M take note, you don't need over the shoulder restraints on your looping coasters.
  17. ^So it looks like the flame throwers will be placed at the bottom of the dive loop. ...I like the placement.
  18. ^Yea, I really don't see what's different about DD's colors in that pic. It's just the lighting.
  19. I've been to SWO, BGT, USF, and IOA already this year, with the first coaster being Kraken. Now the first out of state coaster will probably be Goliath in two weeks at SFOG.
  20. Great News!!! Opening day in just around the corner. Ok, a couple months, but still it's just around the corner.
  21. I have to say, those were some great aerial shots. It really shows how large Millennium Force and the TTD tower really are. Thanks.
  22. I'm pleasantly surprised with the first drop so far. It looks a little steeper than what I was expecting from the renderings. Though it could also be the angle. Anyway, two thumbs up and thanks for the pics.
  23. Thanks for the pics, the building just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Speaking of DD, I went on each side twice last week and they were the smoothest rides I've ever had on any B&M. ...Ever.
