Actually, the latest rumor is just that. They are unable to install the first piece of track that contains the chain because of temporary wood being used in the station. I'm assuming they are talking about some kind of temporary scaffolding being used by the workers. I guess we'll see once they get done with that section of the ride.

...And that's what I like about the FlashPass. You can now plan a Six Flags park on a Saturday and the other parks on the weekdays. It really makes planning a multiple park trip that much easier than just using Saturdays for travel days IMO.

Sorry folks, park's closed. The employee who just took your $15 dollars for parking should have told ya. Seriously, I took a chance two weekends ago at SFOG. It was really bad weather the day before and the day I was going called for a cold and windy day. I was lucky the park stayed open, but I also was preparing myself the day before in case it wasn't. Sometimes you take a chance and it pays off and sometimes it doesn't.

Being a Dolphins fan, I actually prefer the Redskins logo over a Cheatriots one.

Wow, this thread has become very entertaining in a hurry. Oh and I really can't wait to ride the "backstage bone" element.

For me it has to be the Georgia Cyclone. I actually have it ranked #9 on my woodie coaster list right now. When you know where to sit, that coaster really kicks butt.

I lost interest once Syracuse lost to Oklahoma. Even if they would have won that game, the next game would have been North Carolina. Yea right.

Planning a trip around an unknown opening date can only lead to disappointment. Heck, Universal didn't even give a month, they only said spring of 2009. We just assumed it would be ready by Memorial weekend. As for no explanation, there could be many reasons for that. They really have no obligations to tell us either way, as long as the ride is safe when it does open. At this point we just have to wait and see.

Cheetah at Wild Adventure last week. It's not a bad ride, even though the train sucks IMO.
