  1. Like Chuck said, it's a good time of the year for crowds and weather. As long as you get there before opening, you should have no problems getting on all the rides. Have fun.
  2. I think Breakers Express gives you a pretty good deal too. ...I think it's around $90 dollars a night. You get the discount tickets and early entry just like the other on-site hotels. The only drawback is having to pay for parking, since the hotel is about 5 minutes down the road from the park.
  3. I agree. I think we sometimes forget how much effort and time is put into building these coasters.
  4. ^Yea, I was pleasantly surprised. ...And this is coming from a Star Wars guy. Definitely worth seeing, IMO. 9/10
  5. I'll let you know in a couple of years. Seriously, for a weak draft overall I liked what the Dolphins did on day 1. ...And day 2 is always a crap shoot in any draft year.
  6. I would have to say that my favorite colors for Intamin has to be red and orange. ...Though green isn't too shabby either. As for B&M, I really like the look of Raptor's colors and the Batman at SFMM.
  7. Curious, which pass is the Gold? Is it the 1 year or 2 year pass to just Seaworld? ^^The Platinum Pass should get you in early, since it would be considered a season pass for all 9 parks.
  8. It would definitely be a new way to get Rick rolled.
  9. It's one thing to auction off first rides on new coaster, but a 20 year old one... I would just give to Red Cross and go wait in line for Maverick.
  10. ^Sounds great, thanks for the inside info Inuk. I'm waiting to see if season pass holders will get a sneak peak. ...I hope so.
  11. Yea, I noticed the crane yesterday behind the first break run. I was over by MIB, but couldn't tell if was in USF or over in IOA near Harry Potter. When I finally got around to the other side of the park, it wasn't there or at least I couldn't see it from where I was.
  12. If you look at those pictures, the date on it says April 20th or "2009_0420_Rockit2" Here is that picture if you all are interested: *From screamscape.com For anyone interested, the scaffolding around the building was gone as of 4pm this afternoon when I walked by. I'm not sure when it was removed though.
  13. Already visited: -SWO -BGT -IOA-2X (including today) -USF-2x (including today) -SFOG -Wild Adv. Upcoming visits: May: -DHS -EPCOT -SWO (Manta opening) June: -Martin's Fantasy Island -Waldameer -Darien Lake -Kennywood -Cedar Point (2 days) -IOA/USF (HRRR opening-hopefully ) August: -Santa Cruz -SFDK -CGA Fall: ...And more visits to IOA/USF/SWO/BGT with my season passes.
  14. Where have I read that update before. ...It's good news though.
  15. Damn! But I guess that makes sense, since I'm guessing there weren't many re-rides on DB today.
  16. LOL, I'm curious to how long the wait time will end up being today. Well, at least the other coasters will be walk-ons.
  17. "Why build one when you can have two at twice the price?" ...Wanna take a ride?
  18. Yea, I've heard many rumors over the last couple of weeks. I guess I'm just hoping it was something simple like the scaffolding rumor.
  19. I probably average 1 to 2 visits a month between USF/IOA, SWO, and BGT. I also get to each Disney park once a year.
  20. I'm heading to the park next week, so I'm hoping the front of the station is done by then. That way we can see if the temporary scaffolding used by the workers is the reason for the lift delay.
  21. Yea, that Diddley-Dee song fits that video like a glove. As usual, great song choice R&E.
