If you are going to CP, I recommend staying at one of the park's hotels. ...Early entry to the park is a must IMO!!! With the early entry I was able to ride Millennium Force 4 times and Maverick 6 times over the course of two mornings this week. When the GP finally did arrive the wait times quickly went up to 60 minutes for MF and 75 minutes for Maverick.

I'm usually not much into marathoning, though I did ride the Ravine Flyer II 9 times earlier in the week and Maverick 7 times yesterday. ...If that even counts.

15/20, with a couple of guesses.

As long as it keeps the line moving at a good clip, that's all I care about.

Thanks for TR, Erik. I have to agree that the Boomerang and SLC are two of the better ones I've been on. Also, finding the entrance for Cheetah and Bug Out was a bit of a challenge for me too.

Great job covering the event, guys. The pictures, video, POV commentary, and interview were all top notch. As usual, TPR was well represented.

I agree that Disney needs to focus on DAK and DHS before ever thinking about a 5th gate. Heck, even Disney has to be careful not to spread itself out too thin.

^I agree. I'm not the biggest fan of spin and puke rides, so the slower spinning and higher swinging would be right up my alley.

People probably thought they were getting a bootleg of the movie. Just kidding, I think Sir Clinksalot hit the nail on the head. It had more to do with who posted the video and the quality that is always delivered.

I bet they would have had more visitors than Hard Rock Park.

I'm a big fan of the PA parks. I would put the state second behind only Florida and just ahead of California.

It's the unofficial official date. I'm sure they will have a soft opening, so you should be ok as long as there aren't anymore delays.

As a whole, I thought Manta was very good and a great addition to the park. As for ranking it, I would probably put it #6 or 7 out of the 8 B&Ms in Florida. ...Which would still put it in my top 25. It's just awfully hard beating out Dueling Dragons, Montu, Kumba, and SheiKra in my opinion.

^Good point. I've always had success going counter clockwise. I would start out heading towards Griffon/Alpengeist, then hit DarKastle, Big Bad Wolf, Apollo's Chariot, etc.

I had no problem wearing my glasses (with a strap) the other day on Manta. IMO, it's a great investment if you don't like contacts. In the two years I've been wearing them on coasters, I've only been asked to remove them once. ...And that was at Wild Adventures.

I wouldn't automatically rule out a B&M sitdown coaster just because Carowinds already has a looping one. There are a few parks off the top of my head that have an Arrow looper and a B&M floorless coaster. ...For example, SFMM, SFGAdv, and even Kings Dominion. Just saying, not predicting.
