  1. ^^They could always set up a stand out by the highway and sell it as fire wood. It would be a good source of revenue during the winter months.
  2. Maybe they sent the wrong track to KD. You know, like the supports.
  3. ^^Don't worry guys, I don't get Nitro either. ...#3? Heck, it's not even in my top 20. BTW, great TR once again. Oh and I would have skipped KK too for another ride on El Toro.
  4. I wish you guys would take this thread and the rings more serious!!! ...My lord. On a more serious note, don't forget to take those pics if the rings are up, Scott.
  5. ^^^A MF with lots of airtime= a new favorite steel coaster in 2010.
  6. Nicely done on the pics, pkd. You would definitely give Thomas Magnum a run for his money today.
  7. ^If they're up make sure you get photos, we need photos!!!
  8. If we are counting Jaws and Aliens, then it would be as follows for me. 1.Jaws (1975) 2.Aliens (1986) 3.Exorcist (1973) 4.Poltergeist (1982) 5.Dawn of the Dead (2004)
  9. As of 06/19/09: SWO- x3 BGT- x2 IOA- x2 USF- x2 SFOG Wild Adventures EPCOT Martin's Fantasy Island Waldameer Darien Lake Kennywood Cedar Point- x2 The parks I have planned the rest of the year are as follows. ...SFDK, CGA, Gilroy Gardens, Santa Cruz , SWO, IOA, USF, and BGT.
  10. Kraken at Seaworld this morning. It's always a fun ride in the front, but the back is still the best IMO.
  11. To which my obvious thought would be: Okay then, they're going to put in Seasame Street as a whole new area and keep Land of the Dragons, too. Yet he leaps right to the idea of a whole new (adult) coaster, and I'm not sure why. /Wishful thinking, perhaps? That's just the coaster enthusiast coming out in him. Florida needs a good Intamin.
  12. Sorry, but this made me laugh as much as Robb's TR. I have a lot of great B&Ms within an hour of me, but none of them come close to a great Intamin.
  13. LOL, next year. ...Along with KI, IB, SFKK, and Beech Bend.
  14. SheiKra two days ago. ...front row, end seat.
  15. My #1 is El Toro, with Ravine Flyer II #3 and Tremors #4.
  16. If it's an Intamin, I'm already making travel plans.
  17. I have to agree that 113 feet does sounds a little off. ...Though I don't think it's only a few feet shorter than Montu either.
  18. I'm really enjoying the trip reports so far, and I'm glad to see you were able to ride my #2 favorite woodie, Phoenix.
  19. ^^Bendix Woods County Park Now we should be up to date, I believe it's your go astroworldfan1.
  20. Millennium Force, last Thursday 15 minutes after closing.
  21. MF is definitely not an airtime machine, but the drop, second hill and bunny hop at the end do give nice moderate/semi-strong floater air in my opinion.
  22. Yea, I kinda felt the same way. I really liked the park overall, but MF, Maverick, TTD, Raptor, and Blue Streak were really the only coasters worth riding again and again. Speaking of Maverick, the first time I rode it I wasn't that blown away, but the more times I went on the more it really grew on me. It's one of those coasters you have to lean into the transitions, otherwise you will get beaten up.
  23. From the coaster I've been on, this is my list. Steel-Bizarro (SFNE), Maverick, Ride of Steel, and Phantom's Revenge Wood-El Toro, Phoenix, Ravine Flyer II, and Timber Terror As a side note, the coasters listed above are all in my top 15 overall.
