  1. In 2009 I visited: Cedar Point Kennywood Idlewild Waldameer Lakemont Del Grosso's Hershey Park Knoebels Dorney Lakemont, Del Grosso's, Knoebels, and Dorney were new parks for me.
  2. Yes, I play many instruments guitar, mandolin, upright bass, percussion, and I'm classically trained on the guitar. I enjoy all different types of music from orchestral to punk to blues and any where in between. Do you call out coaster elements to other riders, as you're riding?
  3. Great TR. I liked seeing the old Hannah-Barbera themed rides. I remember seeing rides like that at Canada's Wonderland and also Kings Dominion when I was younger. I always liked to ride sitting on Jabber Jaws on the carousel. Also, nice Vacation references. Classic movie, one of my favorites.
  4. ^I agree, try to head to the back of the park first. Possibly stopping at Fahrenheit first. I was at Hershey Park a few weeks ago and the only lines that were really long were Fahrenheit at about and hour and the Roller Soaker that was about 2 hours. The board walk water park is a big draw for most people, especially on the hot days. The lines stay a little shorter, for the coasters and other rides, while the water attractions are open. When it closes the lines get longer. We headed straight back to the Wild Cat, Wild Mouse, and Lightning Racers first and waited only a few minutes for each. I would recommend that plan for your trip.
  5. My pictures are here . There are a lot of parks, and some other random things.
  6. At Lakemont Park Just off the world's oldest coaster.
  7. I just had Tommyknockers Maple Nut Brown Ale. Interesting beer made with pure maple syrup. Not too bad flavor, I was expecting a sweeter taste. It was good, not one of my favorites, but good none the less.
  8. The coaster design sounds exciting. This should be a great fit. I also hope they plan to fix the top of the second hill on the Phantom's Revenge.
  9. Hi everyone on TPR, I'm Ryan and I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I live close to Kennywood. I'm a huge fan of amusement parks. This site is awesome. I'm happy to be a part of it. For a random fact, I play mandolin, guitar, and percussion in an Irish, folk/rock band.
  10. Next park will be Hershey Park, or Knoebels. My trip is planned for next week.
