  1. My friend got me a pass to Great Adventure for $30 for X-mas. Her mom has connections. I wasn't planning on getting one this year due to them adding nothing but new paint and a sound system to Medusa, or whatever it's going to be called.
  2. The best log flume I've ever been on is the one at Dorney Park where the drop is built into the side of the hill and is not very steep. When going down the drop you pick up a lot more speed than expected and it was awesome. I think the lift looks awesome and would rather it be out in the open. It's like Fahrenheit's lift, when I was waiting in line for it I watched it go up that lift every time. Why hide something that is that eye catching?
  3. Actually the first 2 weeks of Fright Fest are really uncrowded. The closer you get to Halloween, the crazier the crowds are.
  4. Hydra at Dorney Park. I don't get why it's so ruff. It's really quiet though (I know it's filled with sand) so I could complain about how much it sucked to my friend while riding.
  5. I don't think so. I was looking out for one in my email and my spam folder, but nothing caught my eye.
  6. I registered 4 spots for me and my friends. Should I expect an conformation email?
  7. I got a good deal through AAA. It actually looks like a pretty nice hotel. It's really basic, but that doesn't matter because most of the time I'll be at the park.
  8. Wow thanks for the speedy response. I'm checking with some of my friends to see if they're as interested as I am (I know a few will be), and will probably make a little "family trip" out of this.
  9. The description Six Flags gave it sure sounds like it should be a Disney Ride. "With The Dark Knight Coaster, guests experience the ride of their lives. Venturing through demented hallways of twists, turns and hallucinatory images, they are tormented by The Joker himself. Then as they set foot onto a distressed, vandalized train platform, they can only guess at what awaits them as they speed through six 180-degree hairpin turns, climb unseen hills, plunge into pitch darkness and dip into unforeseen danger. As they attempt to escape the terror, their only hope is that Gotham's Silent Guardian — Batman — can save them." I experienced nothing that is in that description while riding except speeding through the 6 hairpin turns. I didn't even see a Batman figure and had no idea what the other figures were supposed to be. I understand it's Six Flags, but they could have done a much better job.
  10. The themeing wasn't even all that fantastic. I had no idea what was going on. My favorite part was when all the "HAHAHA" and "Why so serious?" lights came on during the preshow. It was like they built a coaster in a warehouse and put some Halloween decorations in there.
  11. I don't really care how cool the themeing was, the ride was awful. Before getting in line all the people coming out were saying how dumb it was and that Skull Mountain was better. The next time I go to the park and someone wants to go on, I'm making them go by themselves, then go on Scream Machine.
