Coney Island on Tuesday, for the fourth time in a week; I just can't stay away! I guess I belong with the freaks.

I closed out the night on Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland. It's so cute!

Coney Island Cyclone during the fireworks last night. I definitely made the right choice to get my blissful pyro ride in and then catch the rest of the excellent show safely on the ground.

I'm having trouble planning things out at the moment, but I'm thinking Adventurer's Family Entertainment Center.

So I got in a few rides on Cyclone last night, and it was playing nice for me this time! Front, back and near-back were all much better than last year. Sure, it's rough, but there was only one extreme thigh jolt in the back this time (and some lesser ones), and overall I just didn't suffer as much. It didn't feel sluggish anymore, either, but maybe that was just the nighttime effect.

^Not me, I have terrible taste in beer too. I was just coming in to post I last drank PBR...though it was only because apparently "Moon" sounds just like "Ribbon." Anyway, so far I can only stand Blue Moon and Miller/Miller Lite, and I guess PBR too. I always thought I'd be more hardcore, but it turns out I MUST have my alcohol as well-hidden in my drinks as possible!

Confession time: I've finally decided to count relocated credits. Not like you're gonna sue me, right?

^Ah, it was probably the kids leaving then. And luckily it seems I happened upon one of the park's "good days," apart from the weather (though that probably helped keep people away or in the water park).

^Sure thing! Noted and done! But you guys all suck for not telling me about the front seat...airtime city right there. Not surprisingly, I did nearly all the credits in a lazy 2 1/2 hours. The park actually got more and more dead as the afternoon went on; I'd figured it would be the opposite as the torturous heat calmed down a bit.

Thanks guys! That's reassuring about the lines; hope it turns out to be the case for me.

^Just saw that! I think I read something about the Topper Track going on the helix, but I think the deadliest part of the ride by far is the first drop. The coaster could definitely use it, though (and I say this as a fan).

^^You're not wrong! Especially because I am very nearly obsessed with ring carousels. I have consoled myself about past losses by buying a lovely brass ring from Knoebels, but still hoping to grab a legit one someday!

I posted earlier that I like to give each coaster an individual ranking, but when it gets confusing I do like to think of it more as a continuum that gradually progresses from my favorites to my least favorites. I also do this for topics where I'd like to share some examples of how different things compare in my mind, but don't care to formally rank them. For example, I like talking about favorite parks but find myself utterly unable to rank any more than my top 2 or 3. I suppose that's kind of what people do with the A-F "school" grading scale (which I rarely attempt) or even the ten-point scale that I also use.
