  1. I've still only ridden two of these, SpongeBob and Untamed. SpongeBob is easily my favorite. Untamed is painful in the front seat and feels like it has a lot less to it, even though it does have one more inversion. Then again, I did ride Untamed 10 times in a row... Honestly, these rides only stand out to me for the first drop. SpongeBob has a couple other fun parts, but Untamed really didn't thrill me in any other section. Although it's a bit tame, Fahrenheit is my favorite interpretation of this ride style, with enough height and length to make it feel a bit less compact, plus an inversion-packed layout.
  2. Well that's understandable; I've freaked out on the Knoebels Flyers over much less (though the bizarre feelings are actually what keep me going).
  3. Sadly, I am now up to 11 Boomerangs. At least I kind of enjoyed my last one... Boomerang, Elitch Gardens Boomerang, KBF Boomerang, SFFT Boomerang, WOF Boomerang Coast to Coaster, SFDK Boomerang Coast to Coaster, TGE Flashback, SFOT Flashback, SFNE Sea Serpent, Morey's Piers Sidewinder, Hersheypark Zoomerang, Lake Compounce
  4. Wow, random topic idea, but since I do rank, I'll go with it. Worst B&Ms: Iron Wolf and Vortex (CGA), easily. There are others I'm not a major fan of, but those two are the only ones I rate lower than a 7/10. Worst Intamin: Um, Jr. Gemini. But believe me, there are plenty of others I don't care for. Worst GCIs: Wildcat (fun, but no airtime) and, I must confess, Apocalypse (not enough airtime).
  5. ^Airtime in dreams is the best! Well, that and launches.
  6. Well, at one point I did strongly considering adopting a (completely non-ironic) Insane Clown Posse avatar. However, I seem to prefer using pictures of me as avatars. I like the idea of at least potentially increasing the chance that (cool, harmless) people will recognize me in real life, though I take it that rarely actually happens.
  7. Last year I had a Six Flags season pass from SFOT. This year, I don't have any. I don't have any concrete trip plans that would warrant one, but if I did get one it would most likely be Six Flags again. I'm sure I'll have an excuse to buy at least one within the next few years, though.
  8. I absolutely agree. X2 is one ride where audio is done right (when working). From other posts, I take it the current problem is that the music plays inconsistently, rather than not at all?
  9. ^Yeah, I remember not being particularly impressed by Power Tower.
  10. Wild Chipmunk at Lakeside Amusement Park yesterday. And yes, it was, indeed, wild.
  11. I think I'll head back to Mile High Flea Market in a few minutes.
  12. Sidewinder at Elitch Gardens yesterday. Such a fun little classic shuttle!
  13. I'm heading to the Denver parks this weekend.
  14. Now that makes me want to get up and go ride Thunderbolt right now. Great attention to detail!
  15. Well, that's unfortunate. But at least it was a credit that was almost certainly off-limits to adults!
  16. 1. Batman: The Ride, SFOT 2. Flight Deck 3. Talon 4. Vampire, La Ronde 5. Raptor
  17. ^I wasn't sure if you could do that at CGA; glad to hear it! The only insane Flyers sessions I've experienced were at Knoebels; otherwise, I'm generally not a fan of the ride type (but will try to check them out more often just in case).
  18. That's a great way of putting it. (And I agree about the airtime on the existing Outlaw.)
  19. That just came into my mind after reading Elissa's post and before reading yours.
  20. ^It took me a moment to find it, but I like the way the name looks on the tower, and how the blue matches the sky in the photo. I always liked the "Deja Vu" color scheme, but I'm still relieved to hear the ride looks fine in its new home.
  21. I definitely would have preferred bat-out-of-hell intensity, too, though this still seems like a very promising ride. I'm often perfectly fine with limited sections of extreme intensity, but I also love relentlessly paced rides like El Toro.
  22. ^^Yeah, awesome colors and design on that sign!
  23. ^If they use that name, it might take me a while to stop thinking about Outlaw at Adventureland. But that hardly matters...it does seem to be a fitting name for SDC and their new ride. Agreed!
  24. A part of me will feel better once actual wooden coaster hotness starts going up. But still...EXCITEMENT! I can't be certain, but something tells me I may revisit this park next year.
