  1. There's no way MM bulldozed an entire stadium for a superloop lol. I would love if MM did indeed get a Zamperla giant discovery ala SFOT but highly doubt we'll ever see one. The longest standing, most common rumor is JL, and these days usually the most popular rumor is the one that comes to fruition. I'm more excited about the possibility of them re-doing the movie district than the actual JL itself.

To be honest, they can really do whatever they want with that land. If they wanted to install a superloop, and use the land expansion around it to build facilities to tie in to the attraction, then they will. It's best to go in with zero expectations.

A full size replica of Noah's Ark would draw millions from around the world. Nothing like that has been done. Just have to figure out how to bring back the dinosaurs back to life.

  2. I'm hearing X2 should be open for WCB. It was only supposed to be a 2 or 3 week refurb. And if TPR is advertising ERT on it, it would be kinda rude for the park to have it down just for general maintenance.

From the West Coast Bash page:

EVENT DETAILS AND RIDE AVAILABILITY SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE!

If I hear one person complain that a ride isn't open and try to use the excuse of "Well TPR advertised it" not only will you not be allowed to attend another one of our events ever again but you'll be banned from TPR for life.

Look, I get it that everyone is looking forward to riding stuff, but if one ride being down is going to make or break the day for you, do us all a favor and don't go.

--Robb "So sick of all the complaining." Alvey

HAHAHAHA! Robb just laid a smack down on us!

It's true though, if a ride is down then don't let it ruin

    the day.

Just have a Churro, a lemon slushy and all will be well!

And put on your headphones and listen to Chicago.-Saturday in the Park.

  3. While at the park on Tuesday I spotted a group of teenage boys attempting to throw souvenir basketballs at YOLOcoaster from the Superman plaza and almost hit one of the trains as it was passing overhead. I screamed a few choice words at them and scared them off so they ran to the Helpful Honda Express and caught a ride down the hill. We followed them and gave a description to a couple employees at the Helpful Honda Express who then radioed it in to someone. Hopefully those idiots were caught and thrown out of the park.

It's times like this that The Dragon is missed. You could have easily grabbed a ride on the Dragon to catch your perps.

  4. Gut Gold Rusher. Add some theming with boulders with a Bryce Canyon type landscape. Put a fake train engine car out front of the trains. Don't forget a steam train whistle. Add some animatronics . Also, have the trains travel upward into a mountain tunnel and then have a fake dynamite explosion with fake smoke (fog). Also add an old Miner's town storefronts. Rename it Giant Lightning Ridge (

  5. I never thought Viper was a bad ride; it's the best of those old Arrow multi-loopers. I'm not saying it's a "great" ride, but at least it's not painful.

It's super painful for tall people like me but that's mainly due to the restraint design placing major force on the collarbones, rather than the ride itself. Although some of the track transitions are just shocking, particularly into the first cork screw... It's gotten to the point where I can't ride it anymore which is a shame cos I loved it in the 90s.

Exactly, I have a long torso and the restraints are real painful on my collarbones. And the the collarbone is connected to the neck bone. So, I suffer neck pain in addition.
