^I for one never said I hated the ride. I just think it's way overhyped. In all honesty, from a thrill standpoint Maverick and Dragster IMHO are the only noteworthy rides Cedar Point has to offer. I really don't get why Magnum, and Cedar Point keeps winning so many dan Golden Ticket awards. The park is great, but far from the best in the world.

Not at all. I too last visited in June of 07 and when in line for Magnum it went down, and we were talking to one of the operators, telling him that we were from California and that so far we found the park to be decent, and asked him about Magnum seeing how we were newbs to the ride. when he told us that it was "the best ride Arrow built" i said to myself, I can pull about 6 Arrows out of my @$$ that are lightyears beyond Magnum.

Well seeing as how your original concern was that it wasn't a record breaker, netdvn's point is valid. If you look at how Six Flags markets their thrill rides, they find unique ways to market their rides that may not be X or Kingda Ka... Allow me to quote the website: "There’s nothing as frightening as Medusa—the tallest, fastest, longest and most technologically-advanced roller coaster in Northern California." "Bigger, faster, scarier—take on Titan. Towering one hundred feet taller than the legendary Texas Giant, Titan features over a mile of twisted steel with huge sweeping spirals, spectacular plunges, a 120-foot-long tunnel shrouded in total darkness, a series of camel-back hills, huge spiral curves, and high-speed helixes." "Here's a riddle: which roller coaster is worth standing up for? The Riddler's Revenge, of course. It's a blazing-fast coaster with a twist: you'll stand, not sit, as you race at 65 mph head-over-heels six times over nearly one mile of twisting, looping, inverted steel track—for nearly three minutes." "Iron wolf was the tallest and fastest of its kind. And with a 90-foot drop, hairpin turns, and a 360-degree vertical loop, this steel stand-up coaster is showing no signs of slowing down." (End rant) Regardless of what we (enthusiasts) think, this looks like a great ride, and marketing will find an appropriate way co pursuade people to check it out.

Rondo's "Non-Flagrant Foul" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8ZHLGkm2gE Rondo's Non Ejection http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CENZNnn0G1A Fisher's ejection+suspension both incidences were done out of malice, and I think Derek Fisher SHOULD have been suspended for misconduct, but I think Rajon Rondo should have too, and wasn't. That's where consistancy becomes an issue. EDIT: On a side note, I'm watching the pre-show to Lakers Vs. Rockets game. Of course the begining narrative was how great Lebron is, How great the Cavs are, and why it should be a wrap now because so far they've won their first 7 playoff games by an average of 17 ppg. Well La-Di-Da. I don't see the justise in ESPN calling the Cavs for sweeping an 8th seed Pistons and holding a 3-0 lead against an at best "okay" Atlanta Hawks team. Not when you use the same term "dominant for a Chicago Bulls team to two sets of three consecutive championships, or the Los Angeles Lakers 3-peat years which saw a 22-6 road record against teams like Portland, Sacramento and San Antonio. To make a long story short: Are Lebron James and the Caveliers Overrated? No, they're a solid team Are Lebron James and the Caveliers Overhyped? Hell Yea they are! -

^Didn't that wax museum close a few years back? The building is still there I know, but I think it's closed. -

I also highly recommend renting a car. Southern California is NOT public transit-friendly, nor is cab fare reasonable. Being able to get from point A to point B on your own time is going to do nothing but maximize what you all will be able to see and do on your trip! -
^^^I find that clip interesting for several reasons *The reporter called the vertical loop a "Loop-de-loop" *23 alleged people were stuck, one was interviewed, which leads me to believe they just found the one lady who freaked out the most *At no point did the dialogue explicitly say that riders were in any danger, that it was a deadly situation, or that safety was not present, but the tone and implicity of the report would have you believe otherwise.

^Noted. I'm going to have to call shenanigans on the officiating. It's WAY too inconsistent and extremely biased. Apparently Stu Jackson is someone who vote for Golden Ticket Awards... Derek Fisher Suspended -

^I'm sorry...did you just compare the dominant, unstoppable, Shaq-led 2001 Lakers that went 67-15 in a tough Western conference to a team that has one superior but guadable player that so far swept one 8th-seed team that was below .500? Wow. Apparently you and I ain't watchin' the same playoffs. -

However if he does get suspended, I think it'll further solidify the biased officiating the league has been slated to have. -
