^The video is the CDride onride video. As I said a few pages back, the sheer fact that this video was put on the internet was 99.99% likely an employee that failed to fully read the terms of conditions of his or her Non-Disclosure Agreement they signed prior to employment with the park...an employment I'm sure has since been terminated...

@Coaster Prince: I think he was trying to present the case that the park for the most part engineers high troughput in their major attractions (yet I can't for the life of me figure out why they bought a 850pph GCI) and a Megalite would go against that...but then again so did Terminator so whatev...

On a completely unrelated note, the poster of this video should fear for their job. This video could not have been purchased as with a situation of this magnatude, the video should not have been able to purchase. How this video ended up on youtube is questionable, but I'm sure heads will roll for it...

@Monsterfan and WFChris... You both make solid points, but in the snese that Great America (for example) has a shorter operating season, it could very well have a higher proportion of profit in corrolation to it's shorter season, verses generating more cash and having higher opertaing costs. GrAm can very well indeed be the most profitable park, yet not bring in the most moeny. This of course is speculatory, however as I previously stated is an educated guess based on actual statistics. How else can you justify corporate spending the most in capital improvements on a park that doesn't make the most money?

Again...MM has a higher per-cap revenue (highest gate admission in the chain, higest prices in park, etc), along with a much longer operating season(virtually all year), and with it being rented out for parties which guarentees a certain amount of revenue in the non-peak season while GrAm is three-feet-deep in snow, Magic Mountain brings in the most cash for the chain despite the fact that Great America and Great Adventure beat it in attendance.

Which is worse, Arrow or Vekoma?
Bolliger&Mabillard replied to MLRC7 CP's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Vekoma is worse. They're both rough as sh*t, but at least Arrow's are always open. -
A few pictures from last nights event… Kudos on the decorations! We rode Rev first. Rough ride, but bareable… Tatsu was closed when we first got there, but was running after we came back…(around 9) Not being able to ride Tatsu, we headed to Déjà Vu. Misters were added to the station fly through for those who hadn’t noticed… Eduardo’s Grill employees were happy to give us FREE water in designated cups… Just to be a jerk, I stuck a “Thriller” pose… All in all, The Mountain gets a HUGE thumbs up from me. For management to open the park for us for 6 hours, and to open virtually every ride, was outstanding to say the least. The park really has come a long way…and it really did make me feel appreciated as a pass holder, and has made a smart return investment as I plan to continue business with the park…

Overrated Parks
Bolliger&Mabillard replied to What Now's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ & ^^^, for the unteenth time, NO ONE IS SAYING CEDAR POINT IS A BAD PARK!. However with so many other parks that provide more than just alot of coasters that run consistantly, it's hard to say that it's the "best" park out there.
