  1. I know that must suck, because Xcel is a pretty kickass ride, but who knows it's a day-to-day thing at this point.
  2. I think that the higher capacity should help that equation as well
  3. I'm personally stoked that this ride has more of a twister layout than MF. I liked MF...didn't really love it. I know airtime isnt the only thing that defines a ride, but it also has alot of stretched out transitions. i305 looks to have more sharper directional changes and I can't wait til June so I can check this out for myself
  4. ^I agree. It's not the OSTR's outright that I have a problem with...so much as the bars in place are composed of a material so hard it might as well be steel. Fun ride, but the jerkiness + rockhard OSTR's = no muy bueno.
  5. ^Is Powerless V is a power ranger
  6. /\Pans for gold in his nose \/Blames it on the alcohol
  7. For sure he might have some news. It's not a definate he'll have some news but it's not a certainty that he won't. He is confirming the chance that news may be recorded or giving concrete evidence he may not.
  8. I had school today so hopefully someone heeded my warning.
  9. Rumor has it Xcelerator was testing as of 9:30am today.
  10. School is still in here in may for most schools and colleges. Opening to around 3:30-4 is more than enough time to get things done without a flashpass as the crowds will still be pretty minimal. (But don't expect it to be a ghost town)
  11. ^Stormrunner and Fahrenheit I had no problem with. Maverick, that quick turn to the right after the drop popped me in my jaw, but other than that it was fine.
  12. If anybody is headed to Knott's tomorrow...be sure to take your cameras.
  13. ^One would assume that they'd have to do so anyway for the mere fact that it has to be inspected before it opens.
  14. COP OUT Man, this recession must be hittin' everybody pretty hard. Five years ago, Bruce Willis wouldn't have touched a movie like this. The movie was "meh" itself, but for the actors attached, I'd expect better. Whether Hollywood isn't paying writers what they should, whether the actors need the cash or a mixture of all factors, it just wasn't as good as it could've been.
  15. Hmm. This is what stuck out the most to me. I know that everyone is saying that the company isn't as bad off as everyone thinks, but when the CEO, the company's most vocal cheerleader says things like this, it just makes you cringe. Can't wait to see how this one unravels.
  16. ^Well then I guess everyone should keep their fingers Xrossed, shouldn't they?
  17. It's not that the Plunge is bad ride. It just isn't reliable. I've seen plenty of days where out of a 12 hour operating day it ran 6.
  18. ^There are several PTR's in this thread that show X2 with walk-on waits (and if memory serves me correctly Atem122 made a time-lapse video?) So it's not uncommon but I wouldn't go Memorial Day weekend expecting it to be a 5 minute wait.

  20. It could be the last chance for the state give te shaft to SF.
  21. You'd have to be pretty lonely to make it with a whale. I vote for the "Free Willy" campaign. Orcas travel in pods for their entire lives. Release them all together, and they'd stick together...and would adapt to the wild pretty quickly. I've just never felt that wild animals should be subjected to perform for human enjoyment.
