I hit the advance button at Tatsu once to advance the train from the transfer block to the station....and an airhouse on the transfer track popped off.

Wasn't that crowded last year. If I had to make an educated guess on what the attendance was, 10,000 maybe?

^I'd hope they just find a place for it in Hurricane Harbor, but one can only hope. Hurricane Harbor really hasn't received much of any updates since it opened...

I hope you are as well. I could see the park closing in maybe Jan-Mar, but the Christmas season leaves alot of money to be made. Besides, with every other park in the region remaining open during that time of year, it's just going to hurt the park in the long run.

^I wear hoodies for style, but I outgrew the one raincoat I had at 13 (I outgrew it vertically, not horizontally) Rain doesn't bother me much. Everytime I go up north to the Bay Area, the friends I travel with think I'm insane for not packing a jacket with me. I can tolerate up to about 35 degrees with just a t-shirt...

I don't necessarily hate Six Flags' policy about the safety deposit boxes, however I don't think it's fair to say that the policy is justified by faster dispatch times. A hard working crew can still get high numbers even with riders scattering loose articles everywere. Coming from someone who was on a Tatsu crew that consistantly pulled about 1200pph before the lock box policy, it's possible to be effecient without lock boxes. Also not advocating that they be removed altogether. I just want to reiterate that Six Flags should not make it MANDATORY. Not even CEDAR FAIR has a mandatory policy. Certain rides at certain parks may have specific policies, but overall it's a case-by-case kind of thing.

Since no one here seems to like it, Magic Mountain can sell them Scream.

^At the very least, Mr. Freeze is a kickass ride. May not be the scariest coaster ever made, but it's fun.

^I think the reason may be because the pressure put on Cedar Fair by Q-funding is bringing about change, whereas Six Flags has just had a change in management itself and is still making adjustments. I really would like to see where both corporate level shakeups will affect our local parks. We may not see much of anything this soon, but in a year or two, I look forward to how Knott's will look. Not so much for Magic Mountain...

The thing that really sucks in all this is that even though they may be saving money in labor and energy, there's also no revenue coming in.

I was told it was extended to the 24th. I could be wrong though.

They've extended Toys-for-Tots all the way up until Chrismas Eve, so I'd take it the park will remain open no matter what the elements are.

It'll open up one of these days. Hopefully this doesn't affect the Toys for the Holidays deal. Afterall, It's all about the chiidren...
