I got hit in the head with a pole yesterday. I was sitting outside and the wind was calm and everything, but then the wind started blowing really hard and WHAM there came the pole. The wind is mean. It's okay, I laugh when I get hurt anyway.

So, I went to Silver Dollar City recently and saw a sign. Yes, a sign. Try and contain yourself...
I think this sign will interest you though because it says that a new family ride will be comming in 2010. I took some pictures of the sign and the area that is behind the fence. So far there isn't much construction besides a big hole in the ground, but that's perfect because it leaves plenty of room for speculation. Can anyone say Aquatrax?! So here are the pics and you can start speculating...NOW!
Do you see that little patch of trees? Yeah, those are gone. This gives you a feel of where in the park this actually is.
I also got a nice view of that tree there for you.
The construction workers are hard a work. No really, they're just invisible.
Omg! Do you see those rocks? Oh, and there's some machinery over there too.

Yes, I noticed this too. I went to the "opening day" and it looked like they haven't even touched the place since they closed last year. Not one ride was open until about 5:00 when they opened the Gauntlet.
I hope things get turned around real quick, or it's not going to be good. Summer just started and to blame the downtime on rainy weather that we had in April is just unacceptable! Arkansas Twister was down a couple weeks before they park closed last year, and why they waited this long to do anything about it, I don't know. I'm disappointed.

My home park is Magic Springs which is about an hour and a half away, so I go there two or three times a year. Seeing that it's the only real park in Arkansas, that's about all I can do.

Ok, I just noticed something very strange that you might want to take a look at.
If you add a video to your favorites then go to your profile and click featured videos and delete, it deletes the other persons video completely.
I thought I was just deleting the video off of my favorites, but when I was looking for the video later it was not found anywhere. So basically people can delete videos that aren't theirs.
