SFGAM Fright Fest PTR 10/18
Jerrykoala2112 replied to Jerrykoala2112's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Nope, that was painted this year along with the "Six Flags" on the side of Sky Trek. And how havn't I been on Terror Twister yet? I love techno and combining it with a ride is awesome! Did Raging Bull not open when the park opened? Hmmm. Well, it wasn't open till maybe 10:20. Apparently, their were technical difficulties, but it was all good. We were having a lot of fun standing in line. Just sad not everyone with us rode... -

(Griffin left early) Don't mind if I do... Theming is amazing! My favorite picture of the whole collection of pictures. I think thats 2,588 cars. Lovin the go carts at night. Cool looking up, Ant eye's view. Why are only the blew stars on?! Is it because the tower is blue? Buns! Must Hold On! Whizzer lift hill... DJ TERROR! Now DJing at Terror Twister 2 (aka, Chubasco) Fog with Flash Photography. Orbit Orbiting... Touchscreen! Best dressed person on the show! The one of the right, of course. The Newly Married Weds... Interesting, interesting. That's right! Eat your waffle fry! I think I am gonna chop your thumbs off....feed them to Jo. Ugh, why did I have to find him on the ride before us?! I see Jo but no Griffin?! Where's Griffin?! I was looking for those! Whizzer, a must. Oh, not that amazing... Who wants to take a look inside there?! Still having his Condor... No one knows where we are! Best hiding spot ever!!! Reflecting pool doing its thing... Thank you! I am having a great day! Soo cool! I got a night shot of this angle too! So happy 285 feet above the ground! So sad at ground level Newly painted, and doesn't smell after that DJ!! Look at them now before I crash into them. I think that means Bumper Cars... Gotta have your Condor... Griffin went on Ragin Cajun' when Jo and I went on Jester's Wild Ride! Loaded with airtime!!! Not much of a rapids... Twist! Twist! Twist! Awww, so cute! Sideways view of the ride. Look who cut me in line for Jetsan's? You know you will be ejected from the park?! Jo on one side, Griffin and I on the other, we must duel with a race! FYI: This is my new profile picture for Facebook. Jo, stop acting like Dora!!! We must take pictures of alive bacon! This is what happens when you want to kill the pig for some bacon... Terror Twister....2!!!!!!! Oh Jo...you got to start riding with us... Six Flags! Overbank goodness pictured above! This line got pretty pretty long! WHEEE!!! Waiting Raging Bull to open..

Best and Lamest Coaster "Ending"
Jerrykoala2112 replied to Teddymonster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Even though I am not a fan of Raging Bull itself, I love the ending with the twisting and turning and all that. It is pretty nice to see that on the hyper. Kanonen also has a good ending with that heartline roll into the brakes, I enjoyed that... What I didn't like was Wild Thing. It was really slow on the hills and wasn't that fun... -

What's your favorite Flat ride?
Jerrykoala2112 replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I really love Log Flumes. For some reason, they appeal to me. I also like Spiderman 3D at Unviersal Studios. Men in Black was amazing also. Indiana Jones, I think at Disneyland? That was good too...and Upswingset at Liseberg, (its like Skyhawk at Cedar Point and Valleyfair) -
Hey guys! Went to Six Flags Great America on Saturday and it was pretty amazing! It wasn't as packed as I though. Rue Le Morgue was as good as last year, loving it. I had some trouble finding my friend though, but I eventually did. Terror Twister 2 wasn't too good, mainly because I was sitting by myself and I had really hard time spinning the cart. Haha Whizzer was good, rode it 2 times. Once in day and once at night. Viper I rode in front, American Eagle red and blue side. Rode Jetsens too. When it is cold, I suggest buying hot chocolate -But overall, really good time. Also saw the "Love at First Fright" show. Highly recommend it! The Geico moments and the Kanye West thing was super funny. Don't forget about the meet-up November 1st!

Efteling Discussion Thread
Jerrykoala2112 replied to Pepper's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I am wondering if this is not a duel coaster? Otherwise, a GCI with 2 stations is sweet. But it looks a lot like a duel...sorry if it was already posted. -
Toverland Discussion Thread
Jerrykoala2112 replied to turbolaaf's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, a small B&M is still possible. Daemenom or something, the floorless at Tivoli Gardens sure wasn't too much, Hydra was only 13 million if I am not mistaken either. Their is always room for a smaller ish B&M... Although any type of launch coaster I would be all over for...... -
I have seen people drive while texting, it is pretty strange. The pull their seat up so that their thighs touch the wheel and steer with their legs. And I do agree, it does take more concentration on the screen, unless the person texting knows everything about there phone and can do it without looking. I also think it should be banned.

I can tell you that SFGAM is pretty light on Friday's. But I wouldn't count on that since like you said, that area is super populated. You could always just buy a flash pass if you see the crowd is too much when you get there. And pray that they haven't sold out on them. MOD EDIT: It would be appreciated if you didn't give advice on a park that you have never been to during Firght Fest. Your comments about SFGAm are not pertinent. So please refrain from attempting to give advice in this thread.

They want people who love roller coasters to take pictures and record them in different HD levels How come Chickens know when the sun rises? -
http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=52652 That is also a SFGADV but for 2 weeks after you go. I would think there would be a little more people in mid October, so I would recommend the Gold flash pass. If SFGADV is crowded on Tuesdays and Wenesdays in May, then I would highly know that Fright Fest will be jam packed...unless all of the New Jersey area suddenly stops going to Great Adventure... And the last post on that thread also tells some good info.

^^Well, SFKK's water park addition is probably better then the Texas Giant rehab. Although, they are both for the better atleast. If La Ronde gets an SLC for next year, then what will they get for 2011 for their headliner? I remember last year and the year before, reading about the great "50th anniversary gift" would be the best thing that happened to the parks...doesn't seem to be like that anymore...
