  1. I know that these new generation B&M's don't have as much airtime as the old generation, the carts are too long to experience much. And I think they didn't add any hills because that race car driver this coaster was built for, won that many awards. I think there are 9 hills, and that race car drive won 9 awards or trophies or what ever. So I guess they didn't want anymore hills.
  2. I actually want that too! It would fit since it's in China and all. Really? They are forcing families to move to build a park? It reminds me of cutting down forests to make room for a new house and squirrels have to relocate. *sigh* This makes me not like Disney now. Although I hope this park gets some awesome unique rides.
  3. I guess that is a good way to market opening day. This year's opening day was EMPTY! But now, you might expect a big crowd? If not, enjoy your own little ERT on this B&M!
  4. The last TPR meet up on November 1st took some serious spinning action on this ride! Seriously, my collar was choking me on this thing! It's awesome. And the strobe lights are insane. I think you should head to SFGAM one year to experience this amazing tea cups set.
  5. Guys, and gals, remember that the ride could only be stored here like La Ronde's new coaster but at Great Escape. We are being over dramatic for this stuff, haha. I would think SFSTL is the closest park to SFKK? But I guess they had more room to store it at SFGAM. And Disneylander, I know most of us would prefer a mega lite then a floorless Chang
  6. There was always that little gate! On the bottom part of the go garts, there is a path that leads to the water park, but it was blocked off by the fence, but you could still move the fence out. Maybe there will be 2 entrances to HH when this is done? I doubt they'll stop using the one they have now. Edit: Superman doesn't look that bad being in the front. I like how there is somewhat of a tree divider there. But as in the picture, the lift goes over the Parking lot, it won't bother many. Mainly because you are high off the ground and it's too high up to notice the asphalt below.
  7. I think it would be more believable if it was all correct and all. It sounds like a little kid wrote it. You can't ride Deja Vu 5,000 times in 6 days. Considering it is down half the day and it has 10 minute dispatches. Now most of us already knew how Chang might turn into a floorless and be put where Space Shuttle America was. But try to work on your spelling! Otherwise, thanks for the message
  8. Did they repaint the parachute ride? MOD EDIT: PSST! There are words that go with the pictures.
  9. Iron Wolf pops in my head after reading your question. Some days, I only get hit none to 2 times, and some days, the restraints have their party. It is probably just the weather.
  10. I find this hilarious!!
  11. The V2 Holding Brake stuff was from me. I emailed SFGAM about it and they said they are bringing it back April 2010.
  12. About the SFDK holding brake.... Doesn't the cart not make it fully up the vertical spike? The front 2 or 4 rows usually are still curved while the others touch the brake? Maybe because the spike is too short to operate the brake. I just realised (sp) that a holding brake on the twisted spike would be pretty awesome.
  13. You are wise The water underneath the ride is awesome, so when in front, it's cool! And in my opinion, the best seat on the ride.
  14. Not sure if this was mentioned. But I remembered a tourist went to Singapore and got caned? And the US government did something but Singapore said no, we will do what we want because he is in our country. So if you cut someone in line, you are screwed if you get caught.
  15. Park Thoughts released that Six Flags Great America will be bringing back the holding brake for Vertical Velocity. I am very excited! http://parkthoughts.com/2009/11/05/bring-back-the-holding-brake/ or parkthoughts.com/2009/11/05/bring-back-the-holding-brake/ I am not sure how you quote from another site, but I think its worth the visit. I loved the holding brake and I am glad it is coming back. But on steel venom, it wasn't any fun
  16. Well, Mark considers many thing family. Evel Kneivel, Dark Knight, Tony Hawk, and don't forget all of them Vekoma roller skaters! There is a whole book of options. I am not sure if Wacky Worms are still being made? Those are pretty out-dated, but anything can happen I guess. I would also think a Mega Lite as a family ride
  17. Oh WOW!! This looks very sweet. Buccaneer Battle was very good when I rode it, and you get drenched!! The theming on this looks top notch and I hope to ride it next year! Very excited right now even though that isn't a roller coaster.
  18. We were at the bathroom by Orbit. Earlier that day, Griffin was playing in a pile of leaves and they were a bunch in a corner. So after we rode Whizzer, we stopped at the same bathroom. I wanted to do something to Jo! So at the last second she started walking towards me, I grab bunches of leaves and throw them. I had to chase her around, got people staring. The people there were confused. Leaves were in the air and people were running at each other... but everything was awesome!
  19. They probably are building for building sakes. People need jobs. That is probably the only reason the parks are there, no one visits them...
  20. ^I think that has been in planning since September....!! I know I'll be there. I really think we need to meet up again in this off season we are being tormented by right now.
  21. This night was like, uber amazingly epic in a good way. It was sooo cool!!! Fun fun, and we rode alot. I'd like to thank Jo, Cameron, Larry, Griffin, Matt, another Matt, Jim, Nathan, Nathan's friend, Patrick, and myself! Awesome!! And everyone knows I really pwned everyone in the leaf war! Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Jeremie
  22. I hope everything goes well and I will be there! Hope to make an entrance. Got my tape phrases for my sweath shirt! Will be a super surprise!
  23. You could do a road trip from Atlanta, to Holiday World, to SFGAM, Cedar Point, Hershey Park, Dorney Park, SFGADv, SFa, Kings Dominion, then Carowinds, then back to Atlanta... That atleast would be the road trip I would take
  24. This roller coaster looks very very futuristic! The seats are very unique and futuristic. Looks like it was built 20 years ahead of it's time...
