  1. ^ I'm assuming because it's not technically open yet, and they don't want to promise anything that currently isn't available to any guests at all. The park also seems to have a few surprises of their sleeve. Like I said on the last page, they have always pulled through in the past....

That makes sense. I definitely wouldn't put it past them have a few surprises. Guess I'll just have to wait and see

  2. Coming from a former Tatsu operator, the required staff it takes to run efficiently, the ride just doesn't get. Too many times that ride gets 3-4 operators PER DAY. I've been there plenty of days where we had to drop a station due to staffing. Not saying it's the only problem, but it was (and maybe still is) a big one.

This. Every time I go I can't count any more than 5 ops actually working. If there's ever any more, they just kind of stand around doing nothing. Also, I don't think its the putting the stuff on the side time that makes it so long, it's really just the amount of time they take to check/unlock/relock/recheck trains. People put stuff on the side for Scream and Deja too, but they're both more efficient in my opinion. Again, I don't know about other people's experiences, just my own. At least it's not as bad as it used to be when it first opened!

  3. As I said before, I'm sticking to the idea that SFMM was basically issued pocket-change as a budget since SF is having to spread the wealth between all of there parks because of the licensing (I'm sure they don't want to file ch 11 again!). There's no way they'll keep this up...it has to be temporary.

Another thought: It's possible that since this is one of the busiest times of year for high school and college students, they are running low on staff. It could be a reason for lack of clean-up and shoddiness of parking attendants.

  4. Although depressing, I truly believe that all of this stuff will get fixed really soon. Can you imagine how hard it must be for these guys to keep up the park when they have to deal not only with so many major changes due to licensing, but also with the construction and demolition of rides? I don't even want to know what they're going through right now. SFMM isn't like most parks that have a real off-season because of the weather, so you can imagine that since they can't just do all their work without guests, there's going to be things that aren't pretty and nice to look at. Things like the mock up sign for Apocalypse are probably just temps to keep people from not being confused until the real season starts in the spring.
