  1. I knew this guy that might as well have flown to Cali and had a child with Robb, he was so in love with them and went on and on and on about how awesome they were and everything (not that you're not Robb & Elissa). But I'm sorry, as much as I enjoy this site I'm not going to follow Robb and Elissa around and worship the ground they walk on if I ever get to meet up with them.

The stalkers are a bit scary on here at times.

  2. Cedar Point must be doing the SFOG rain policy now...heck even Carowinds seems to do that now.

Great report Robb and Elissa. I was lucky enough in June that I had two sunny days at the park with highs around 78!

OH and the belts...let's just say that it was a tight fit for me, but the ops were nice enough to buckle my belts on dragster and millie so I didn't have any problems. I even rode dragster one time with the fanny pack on and I still fit!

  3. Yeah the trains are a "tad" weird, but oh well. At least it's a hyper.

I think everyone should be thankful that its not a Goliath clone. Just knowing that it is not a clone of one of these boring coasters gets me excited. It should be a great coaster and I think we will all agree after it opens and we get to ride it.

    Goliath boring?

I would hardly call Goliath South boring since it's my favorite steel coaster.

I haven't been on it's Northern cousin though.

Why? Goliath is a boring and overrated coaster by most peoples standards. At least the one at SFMM. I rode this thing right after it opened and a year ago.

Goliath at SFMM was not built by B&M and is not even remotley the same layout as the other North American versions (both built by B&M).

  4. LOL

You know I never had issues with WC until last year in St Louis. I don't know if it was just that one restaurant or what.

But that night at Holiwood Nights my stomach was talking back to me all night, course riding Voyage probably didn't help. But I only rode 2 times that night I think.

I like their cheeseburger or double cheeseburgers, can't remember which. Oh and if you ever make it back across the pond, avoid Krystal Burgers. They are a terrible ripoff of WC and they suck IMO.

  5. Well Tom it must be a CF thing, cause Thunder Road (Carowinds racer) has gone from decent, to beat the crap out of you unless you're on on a wheel.

    Love the report though.

I pretty much thought KI sucked last time I was there as well and I loved it in 99, but maybe I just hadn't been to enough decent parks yet.

Unfortunatly I'll have to go back at some point and get the Firechicken/Xflight credit since I never got it.

  6.

    That looks comfortable!

I don't remember that at all in 2005. I skipped it last year.

Looks like they left a piece of track off somewhere in the parking lot!

I had the old train that felt like it was going to unlock any second and throw me to my death!

  7. Awesome PTR Erik as always!

    Carowinds representz!!!

I did Kennywood quickly cause I was dead tired from my other parks back in June, and unfortunatly it was packed that day, so no Jr Phantom for me! It would have made Phantom #150 for me. Griffon got that spot instead.

I just encounter around 5000 bugs. One of them was eaten.

I swallowed one on Raptor the night of Coastermania! I kept my mouth shut on the coasters after that.

  8. Next time I wouldn't mind whoring out Ober Gatlingburg and the NASCAR credit. That was closed on this occasion.

I've tried 3 or 4 times to get that stinkin NASCAR Speedpark credit and it's closed every time! One time it had been hit by lightning!

On the way to our next hotel, we pass through Cincinatti. It really comes out of nowhere driving from Louisville.

I know! You drive around this curve and BAM! there it be!

You know I have to say I hear ya loud and clear on Holiday World. Their coasters seem to run best at night and when you can catch them on a good day.

My first trip in 2005, I thought Raven was just kinda ok. Then last year it was amazing, especially at night. But I still don't see why it got voted #1 for all those years.

Voyage is my #1, but I try to avoid the back. The front or anywhere towards the front is great, especially at night. It's just too much of a good thing in a lot of ways. But I haven't been on it since they added the trim.
