Gardaland Discussion Thread
DBru replied to Rockman89's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Speaking of B&M and capacity... Will this be B&M's lowest-capacity coaster since Iron Wolf? It seems weird seeing a B&M that only seats 24 people. (Not that 24/train is bad...it's just relatively unimpressive compared to the company's other rides.) -
TPR's Game Exchange! BETA TESTING!

Awesome idea. Thanks for taking the time to do this...it'll be a great addition to the site! -
^That sounds great! Our showing of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat premieres tonight. I'm a bit nervous, but I'll make it thrugh, haha. Please, wish us luck!

I just don't understand why Six Flags feels compelled to sell incredibly crappy food (for the most part) at outrageous prices. I know that Holiday World, Dollywood, SDC, Knoebel's, and Hersheypark all sell quality food at reasonable prices. Are these parks not profiting from food sales? If they are, why hasn't Six Flags caught on, yet?

We also have the right of free religion...yet we can't mention God in school? There's a limitation to every freedom. These people have crossed the line. -
The Best Woodie under 75 feet Tall
DBru replied to MagnumForce's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow, I had no idea that Cornball Express is only 55 feet tall. That first drop is wicked. With that said, I believe my two favorite coasters under 75 feet would have to be Cornball and Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain (yeah...both at the same park). Cornball packs an amazing layout into an unbelievably small area, while LCoSM is just plain, whacky fun. -

Georgia Scorcher is good...wish it were a standard sit-down...but still, it's good. I think that's one of the latest inspiring layouts we've seen from the company. I think this looks good, too, though. -
Child dies after train ride accident
DBru replied to chadster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That's so tragic. I feel very sad for the family for losing their young child, but I also feel sorry for the person who was driving the train. Lord knows when he took on the job, he never would have expected something like this to happen...and now, he has to live with the burden of causing the death of an innocent child for the rest of his life. Very sad. -

Larry's Club TRP banner only has him listed as a Charter Member, not TPR staff... Is that it? -

Does the hidden "something" involve a well-known member on TPR? -

World Joyland in China

Is this a Chinese knock-off? It looks WAY too fun to be a B&M... -

I remember seeing this a while back. It looks like a really fun, little ride. Anyone know what the price tag for this thing was? -
Dear Title Fairy, Tomorrow is my birthday, and the only thing in the world that I request for this special day is an updated member title. You see, as I age and mature, I have realized that Miley Cyrus just isn't the woman for me (she has become far too slutty and talentless). But who is, you ask? Rachel McAdams. This woman is wonderful, and it would be amazing if you would grant me a title that reflects my new-found love for this undoubted soul-mate. There comes a time in every young man's life when he realizes exactly who he shall spend the rest of his life with...and for me, that person is Rachel. If you give me this gift, I will provide you with maximum pleasure. Thank you. That is all.

IAAPA 2010 - What should TPR Check out?
DBru replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Please ask S&S if they are in talks with anyone to bring the FreeFly concept over to the US, and if any modifications would have to be made to the trains for one to operate here. I currently have a major S&S fetish. -
Did Summers/Dinn make ANY good coasters?
DBru replied to Movieguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thunder Run at SFKK used to be great. It was once smooth, and had a very fast, air-filled layout.
