  1. Neither are you it seems. What with opening a new thread after your original thread was locked for obvious reasons. Huh? Makes no sense. What does this have to do with legal protocol?
  2. It's a good job that I've met many friendly and reasonable people from across the pond, otherwise I'd start to think that you were all either rude or deranged. You sound like a little Alvey clone! By putting this site in the public domain, they made it a site for everyone. Why is THIS so difficult for many people to grasp. You can't have ownership of people's thoughts and opinions. This site belongs to the theme park community. This site belongs to all of us.
  3. 1 - You have already broken your confidentiality agreement. Ergo, you are lying and not a legal representative in any capacity. 2 - So construction of the Alton Towers woodie started. That means any pictures would be public domain. So please share. Or does your legal capacity prevent you from taking pictures. You sir have a lot of trouble telling the truth! Not very clear on legal protocol, are you!
  4. Are you really that backward? It's not "their site"! It's ours. It belongs to the people who love theme parks, and who spend their time contributing on here. The whole point of a forum such as this is for people to put forward ideas and comments.
  5. That was uncalled for, locking a very interesting thread. I can assure you that you have not scared me off, as was suggested. To imply that I would be frightened away by rude people responding to my posts is naive. As regards the Ultracoaster project, I clearly did NOT state that it was being built at Cedar Point, as some of you seem to have inferred. I know that it is being built in the US, and is a hugely guarded secret, and will remain so for as long as is physically possible. I also did NOT state that there were websites which you could visit in order to read about this topic. As I say, it is being kept hush-hush for as long as is feasible. In my professional capacity as a legal representative for several park owners, I have access to sources which others do not, and it is through conversations with such companies that I know of the brief details of this construction. Obviously, client-lawyer confidentiality prevents me from saying too much, but I have only the briefest details anyway. Without having blueprints or other documents pertaining to the Ultracoaster, in my possession, I fail to see what you mean by "provide some proof". As regards the A.T. woodie, I was personally present at the start of construction.
  6. Such hostility! Don't take it out on others, just because you're not up to date with the latest coaster news. Construction has begun on both of these projects, so live with it. I know there is a negative reaction amongst some people to the perceived need to go ever higher with coaster construction, but I personally think that pushing the limits of human ability is something to be celebrated.
  7. Wow, you guys are really behind with the news. Catch up people!
  8. Both great parks, but TL wave pool is the most fun thing ever invented! Get as close as you can to the front wall, then when the wave comes, turn around and swim like the clappers! You'll sail along on the top of the wave when it reaches you. It's a real blast.
  9. 'Fraid not, dude. Both constructions have been reported by and confirmed by the RCCGB, and have also been reported by various news agencies.
  10. In terms of the Disney parks, perhaps try to avoid a park on a day when it features Extra Magic Hours, as that park is likely to be busier than normal on such a day, what with the influx of onsite visitors. Locals tend to visit parks at weekends, especially the Universal parks, so perhaps avoid Universal on Saturdays and Sundays. And in my opinion, I would use your fifth day at Disney for a return to Epcot. It is certainly the largest park in terms of walking required to see it all, and also, it virtually classes as two parks in one anyway. Hope you have a great trip!!!
  11. And while I'm trying to garner information, can anyone out there fill me in on Alton Towers' long awaited wooden coaster, which has finally received planning permission? I know that they are restricted on the height they can go, because they are not permitted to build above the tree line, but it seems that the woodie will have an absolutely enormous footprint, and will be built on land never before used by the park for rides.
  12. Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any detailed information on the new ultracoaster about to begin construction? You know the kind of thing, design drawings, CAD images, or just general info. I think it's being installed at Cedar Point but I may have that wrong. I know that it will be the first in the world to top 500 feet, and also the first of this breed of super tall coaster to feature an inversion. Just hoping you knowledgable folk out there can fill me in with more info!
