^ Teeny Weeny at TusenFryd. That ride scared the CRAP out of me for the longest time...but then I finally got the guts to ride it last year!
That looks like the best coaster ever built.Look how long the Qline is.. How tall is the drop maybe 120" inches..

Nice photos JIVE>
I like the photo of MR B and MR B.
I got the same photo from the immelman. How many times did Mr Bolligar ride Patriot. I know he rode Goliath a bunch of times. He's a cool guy and nice to talk to. http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new06/pa90a.jpg

The strip takes a little getting used to. Once you have seen it for a while you dont really notice it that much. The station area is kinda plain with limited themeing but looks nice its a bright area with lots of spaces to observe the ride with picnic areas. This photo shows the entrance area, onride photo booth, gift shop building and station house not bad looking http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new06/pa78a.jpg .

Thanks for the compliments.
Um sorry not much airtime as in up out of the seat. However the zero G roll has great upsidedown and all around airtime similar to Krakens ZGroll. The ride carries its speed through out. The loop is similar to a Batman loop pulls all the way through. The immelman enters with good speed and has a little upsidedown airtime hanging air as you rotate out of the immelman. The high bank turn is pretty good as the day went on the it got better and would have a good pull into the S curve. Lets see the s curve over the station is kinda lame but is followed by a nice dip and a flip as I call it more like a good drop into a flat spin. So anyway the ride will surprise most with a good amount of speed, close ground travesing and some great ride elements. Best seat most liked the front but either side back row is my favorite.
A few more photos are up on another page on my site http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventWOF.html and here is a photos of the crystal gift given to all that attended.

Hey gang.
Well another media day has passed. Was out at Worlds of Fun today for Media Day. The ride is pretty good and will surprise most that ride it. I liked the Zero G roll best. The ride has pretty good speed and has a pretty good ride flow. Everybody loved it even all the upper park staff. Anyway I got to the park at 6am rode none stop tell 9 then the announcement from park staff and the announcement was over short and quick. Followed by more rides on Patriot. What else. WOF gave out very cool 8 inch tall 2 in wide glass bars that are laser cut on the inside with Patriot name and eagle head. Anyway exhasted from the trip so here are the photos. Unfortunatly it was a cloudy day so photos not so bright oh well. I have 45 photo from media day on mysite www.johnnyupsidedown.com or go straight to the photos here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new2006p3.html
and here are a few of the photos hope you like.

Thanks everybody on all the great compliments on the photos its allways appriciated..
Goliath is a great ride with lots of airtime but I think also that Nitro is a tad bit better only because Nitros height and over all speed.
Goliath is a well engineered medium to high speed air machine. Although another 5 mph over all speed would make the ride really rock it is good the way it is.

Hey everybody.
I was out at Six Flags Over Georgia for Goliath Media Day Preview.
I am exhusted from the ride home so simple and short.. The ride is a nice air floater ride. Tons of floater air and some good speed. The ride has good paceing and will be enjoyed by most. Anyway Media Day was a short announcement with a skit of actors playing the part of David and Goliath with the announcement. Mr B of B&M was on hand and he took a bunch of rides. Anyway way to tired to tell more. I still have more photos to add but the main ride photos are up from the event. I have 60 photos from today on my site.
So go here www.Johnnyupsidedown.com or straight to the photos here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new2006g1.html

Thanks for the compliments on the photos everybody, its always appreciated. I was very surprised at the size and length of the ride. I think everybody is going to love this ride.

Thanks compliments always appreciated.
I rode second seat from front. I unfortunatly only had time to get one ride as I had to drive to Louisville to catch the flight home. The front had a feeling of being pushed from behind. If that makes sense. As I said it has a ride experience similar to Thunderhead. I would think that the back will be a very wild ride with lots of quick ejector air with quick pace and very quick change of direction. Wish I could have stayed and got a few more rides but atleast I was lucky enough to catch a ride..

Hey everybody.
Well today was another great day for photos all though it was a cloudy day. The construction tour was awesome. We were able to walk all around
and under the roller coaster. We were also taken on the track from the station down to the bottom of the lift hill. The ride really looks awesome as most do. The tour concluded with lunch of pizza and chips. As lunch concluded the lift hill motor started up and the train ran its coarse to our surprise. Then the real treat of the day was a ride on the brand new Kentucky Rumbler. Yes thats right we got to ride the Rumbler. Beech Bend had a special surprise for everybody as they were going to shoot a comercial for the new ride. So everybody got to ride for the commercial shoot. Wow it was a great surprise. Anyway the ride itself for me was a cross between the Ozark Wildcat and Thunderhead. The ride is similar to the Wildcat but it rides like the Thunderhead. It has the same kind of out of control ride like Thunderhead. I am sure others will explain in more detail of the days activities but now to the photos. I have posted 39 photos from todays tour and they can be seen at www.Johnnyupsidedown.com or quick link to the Rumbler photos
here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new2006r.html
Enjoy!!!

Hi everybody I spent the morning over at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. The Florida Coaster Club was haveing its annual birthday party celebration. The day began with an 745 am arrivel and check in as around 85 members and friends of the Florida Coaster Club arrived for our some Exclusive Ride Time. This years event would feature an hour of ERT on Sheikra Americas only dive coaster built by B&M. It was a beautiful morning for ERT at BGT as temperatures were in the 50s with sunny skies. After our ERT session we had some time to explore the park and ride some rides and of course do some photos. The club gathered for lunch at the Smoke House resturant followed by a meeting at Montu for some group rides. The event was great and its always a blast to get some ERT on a roller coaster. Below are links to the photos from todays event featuring photos of SheiKra, Python and some photos of Kumbas new paint job. Thanks to the FLCC and BGT for putting together another fantastic event. Lots of photos can be seen at www.johnnyupsidedown.com or quick link to the photos here http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/eventBGT12.html
Enjoy!!!

Aqutica, how about a Mack water coaster something like Journey to Atlantis or could be a new flag pole for all we know. Could also be a new spinner mouse something like Spinning Dragons at WOF as BGW took out there mouse ride a couple years ago..
Anybody familier with when Apolos or Alpe was built. Does Busch have to file for a higher variance if a ride is going to be say over 150 feet. Or as it seems that the park only has to file for a variance over 60 feet. Does the park have height limits that they would need special approvel for.

Try this one and click on Aquatica its the most recent one filed 9-15-05. Doesnt say anything like the Mavrick one does for CP. Just a filing certificate. Sorry the other links expire. Go to this link http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=searchss&state=89b4st.1.1 Then enter BUSCH ENTERTAINMENT CORPORATION in the SEARCH TERM. Then change the FEILD to Owner name and address. Hit Submit. You should find the recent filings by Busch. Click on Aquatica as its the most recent file.

Here is a newly filed trademark by Busch Ent.
Wonder if it has to do with the new ride going in BGW.

For clairification on the water splash tubes.
Stated during a talk with VP of engineering at an event.
In the summer they use a round tube that throws the water all over. Here is the round tube http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/sheikra/sh401a.jpg During the colder winter months the have switched to a square tube that is throwing the water up but not out of the pond.
They also have paddles that push the water to the side more than an upward motion http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/sheikra/sh334a.jpg and it was also stated that they have a number of combinations that they use. Some tubes are square some point more outward some more upward. So some days different trains will produce larger splashes some will be different. Also depending on the level of the pond it can help to create a different splash.

Hi everybody.
Thought I would post up another post as most are familier with the ride and such I wont detail but do have lots of photos from today 1-26-06.
This morning I attended the Annual Passholders Sneak a Peak preview on Expedition Everest at WDW Animal Kingdom. There were several thousand pass holders on hand for the first peak at the new coaster. The Q and entrance to the ride are just amazing all the themeing is just
incredible. The ride itself is a great family ride with alot of zip. The back ward part is the best all though the helix on the backside of the mountian is pretty nice and has some decent G's. Overall I think they have a hit, the ride is very smooth and has some surprising elements. The Yeti inside the mountian, the one that is robotic is pretty cool looking. You get a pretty good look at him as you wiz by him. Anyway I have posted 30 photos from today encluding most of the buildings, alot of theming, lots of photos of the mountain and some onride photos. It was a great day out at WDW.
To view todays photos from 1-26-06 go here
