I wasn't too sure where exactly this post would fit in, seeing that it is about a video game, but also has elements of Walt Disney World, but I guess the random section worked best. I came across a great trailer for the new Epic Mickey game for the Wii. In my opinion it looks nothing short of stunning! If the game play matches the visuals they could have a real winner on their hands. Not too sure if this has been posted before or not, but I have come across a site showcasing eight abandoned U.S amusement parks. Despite everything that has been said over the years about Drachen Fire I still place that coaster in my top ten of all time. Perhaps I am looking at it through rose coloured glasses but it had a solid layout and it was ahead of anything else for it's time. I would give anything for one last spin around her.

I took a trip there myself last year and found that Hotwire was great for a hotel. If you look for a 4 star hotel in Princeton chances are it will be the Hyatt. It is only about 20 minutes away and about $55 per night. There were many other options in different star categories on the site.....BUT...Princeton is definitely a good place to stay, not too far and there are things to do and eat close by. As for the park....I would do every coaster but if the lines are really long I would save The Dark Knight, Skull Mountain (or whatever it is called) and....yes......Superman for last as it is not a huge loss if you miss them. I am sure I don't need to tell you but DO NOT MISS EL TORO....it's number 1 on my list of 100 or so coasters ridden. Have a good trip!

I'd say the closest thing I have ever had to a blackout was during a ride on The Outer Limits at King's Dominion.

I've always been interested in the areas of parks that are rarely if ever seen by the general public. Whether it's the backside of theming or an employee lunch room POST 'EM HERE. I wish I had something to kick things off....but I don't.

Thanks for the answer about Skull Rock guys! It's little things like that I wish were never removed from parks. Much like the Wonder Mountain Walkway at Canada's Wonderland. They may not be thrilling, but still an attraction in my eyes. BTW Shane, I love your Attic posts, seeing parks in another time is definitely a highlight for me!

So oddly enough attending a funeral yesterday led to a great find. Searching through some old photo albums back at the house I came across a good collection of photos and guide book cutouts from Disneyland, Universal Studios and gone but not forgotten Busch Gardens Los Angeles. Please keep in mind that some are not of the greatest quality AND I apologize for the glue stuck to some of them, but it was the best I could do without ruining the originals. Enjoy And that is that! I do have a couple more from Busch, but a seem to be having some scanning toubles at the moment. Hopefully I can get them up soon. My vote is for Dueling Dragons. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for the ride, but the queue itself suprised the heck out of me with it's size and length....i almost wouldn't mind waiting longer to get a better look at all the details. Other than that I am always suprised at the length of wait for ANYTHING at Canada's Wonderland on any given day......it is pretty much still at least 45 minutes for an SLC.....when you're lucky.

That's an ambitious plan and congrats if you are able to pull it off! I can kind of help you out with the accommodations. Whenever I visit pretty much anywhere I usually always use Hotwire.com for booking hotels. I am not sure what your budget is, but you can usually stay in 4+ star hotels for around $50-$70, some a little more, some a little less. If that is too much they also offer 2 stars from about $30. The only draw back I have found with this site is that you DO NOT know what hotel you are staying in until after you book and then you cannot cancel, BUT, you do get to pick the area and they only deal with good clean properties so it is not too bad. Hope this helps! p.s I would say definitely don't miss Busch Gardens Europe, it's probably one of my favorite parks.

Hey All, I am heading to NJ for the weekend to visit Great Adventure. I need suggestions on where to stay. Basically I am looking for as cheap as possible while not sleeping in filth We really don't need anything more than a place to crash. I don't know the area well so preferably a hotel in a safe area. I have to be honest, I don't really care much for any of the map covers. Except for maybe Animal Kingdom. The rest seem a tad uninspired. Especially the MGM....er.....Hollywood Studios cover. I think that's the same cover I say when I was there almost three years ago.

This past week I hopped on a plane to Orlando for a four night trip at WDW. I wanted to do a proper photo trip report....unfortunately...I forgot my camera at home. So I am attempting to do the next best thing. I have gathered a bunch of random Disney junk I picked up along the trip to share with all of you. While probably boring to some, others may find it interesting to see current WDW maps etc... especially if you are unable to make it out to the park this year. Enjoy! By the way, Robb & Elissa, I apologize in advance for the size of some of the images. I tried to get them as small as I could. P.S, I used this trip as a perfect opportunity to propose to my long term girlfriend. So I am officially engaged (still sounds weird to me). While it's probably been done millions of times now, the Magic Kingdom has tons of great spots to take the plunge. Saving the best for last. I won a Dream Fastpass in the Year of a Million Dreams contest as I was entering Turtle Talk. This came in very handy as I was at Epcot during the WDW Marathon and the first half of the day was pretty busy. Makes an awesome souvenir. The missing tags on the right were for Test Track, Mission Space and Soarin. Disney's Magical Express info booklet. I love the 1930's aviation look of these things. A random gift shop receipt. I think this was from Mouse Ears at Epcot. My Key to the Kingdom!! This one card works as your room key, park entrance ticket AND credit card. Any messeges left on your resort room door come in these envelopes. You can check in for you flight right at the resort. As an added bonus you get this to hold your boarding pass. If you stay on property and use the Magical Express you get these tags for your luggage. HOLLYWOOD Studios...... I don't know, I kinda miss the MGM name. I even think just Disney's Studios would have been better. Just one man's opinion I suppose. Epcot (in case you can't read) Magic Kingdom Current Animal Kingdom guide.

I'm sorry.....I don't quite follow. I'm 25 now, but I was 17 at the time. I no longer ahnd around at Grad Night to look at 17 year old girls.

Wow......I've been on nearly 100 coasters ... 95 to be exact... and I have not been on A SINGLE WOODIE in the top 25!!!!! I'm going to go cry now.
